What you will accomplish:
You oversee the product value proposition narrative and the market entry approach for eBay Live. Your role includes crafting messaging that promotes a positive shopping experience for buyers and success for sellers.
You will take a comprehensive approach to go-to-market, ensuring customers get relevant and meaningful communications at the right time and place. These will include in-product, marketing, PR, market communities, sales, client support, and partner messaging.
Influence product roadmaps by synthesizing market, customer and competitive insights, build audience segmentations and opportunity sizing.
Develop customer feedback loops during the product and marketing development process to refine the product narrative and value proposition articulation.
Develop product value propositions, narratives, customer messaging, naming and external facing proof points.
Manage the go-to-market strategy and planning for product launches and then lead through channel experts to ensure execution and impact measurement. Track customer engagement, product adoption, and business success. Partner with channel experts across in-product content, marketing, PR communications, customer service, in-market teams, and sales channels to generate demand.
Identify internal product market fit tracking metrics; synthesize customer feedback to provide signal amidst the noise across the product life cycle: development, launch, and optimization / expansion. Build up the value proposition employing the voice of the customer to optimize product marketing messaging and to advise on product recommendations.
Define important measures for success, and track progress against goals for the product launches and in-market growth adoption of existing products or services.
What you will bring:
6+ years of experience in product marketing with at least 3 years leading company wide initiatives
Strong track record of developing product and go-to-market strategies at ecommerce companies, with a consumer attitude.
Preferred experience in live shopping
Proven ability to drive innovation, implement projects with excellence
Success working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and excellent communication skills
Strong data analysis skills and experience with customer research techniques

In this role, you will own the strategy and execution of seller marketing communications through own / CRM channels. You will have an opportunity to build from scratch, together with your team, some of the first seller flagship programs and crafting message, audience, channel and contact strategy for those. Examples of programs and initiatives in scope:

You will implement the roadmap E2E, with support of a Campaign Manager dedicated to your function, Operational and Creative Teams, Planning Teams and Marketing Tech
You will develop a strong understanding and expertise on how to use the Marketing tools such as Unified Experience Platform, Message Studio and Monday.com
You will partner with the global and local seller initiative leaders, Seller Product, Marketing Tech, Global Creative, Enablement teams, Community & Engagement, Customer Service, Trust and other business partners in crafting cohesive end-to-end communication plans

What You’ll Be Doing:
Designs, develops and implements Control Systems
Programs PLC’s including Allen Bradley, Siemens and ControlLogix
Programs HMI & servo systems program
Programs robotics and automation systems
Integrates electrical systems
Coordinates and supervises machine startups and process launch
Designs control panels, wiring diagrams and BOM
Troubleshoots electrical systems - (575 volts, wiring, fuses etc)
Understands of Wonder Ware software
Instructs maintenance personnel on the use, functionality, and programming of all automation systems
Mentors licensed Electricians and help them develop PLC programming and troubleshooting skills
Assists in automation cell improvements and actively implements continuous improvement initiatives related to automation and robotics
Press appreciation projects (repairs and rebuilds) will be a key focus
Support plant major breakdowns and repairs as needed
Adheres to Johnson Electric’s policies and procedures
Adheres and supports Johnson Electric’s Safety and Environmental policies and practices
Ensure the requirements of the Quality Management System, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 are conformed to

Qualifications:
University Degree in Electrical Engineering or College Diploma
Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated skills and experience in controls and data acquisition in an automotive manufacturing environment
Ability to function within multidiscipline teams and to act as a team lead on specific projects an asset
Technical & Skill Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, MS Office, etc.)
Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
Knowledge of Cincinnati, Dorst, and SMS presses is preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT (including Physical Demands):
Combination of office environment and manufacturing environment
Exposure to noise, heights, confined spaces, poor lighting conditions, material, products and by-products associated with the manufacturing of powered metal components, exposure to metal working fluids, temperatures, and weather extremes that require the use of specialized protective devices, clothing or equipment
Required to climb stairs, ladders and scaffolding to access elevations, able to crouch for periods of time, push, pull, lift, and turn while carrying tools, material and equipment in various parts of the facility. Excessive walking. Operate material handling equipment including cranes, lift trucks chain hoists etc.
Travel between plants as needed on projects or support needed at each plant
Home location is Ancaster but travel will be required to Mississauga and Stratford
Ability to travel preferred. Travel will be reimbursed as per JE Travel policies (use of own vehicle).
Willing to work overtime.
Project and support requirements may include afternoon or night shifts and weekends

What We’re Looking For:
Technician or Technologist in a Metallurgical, Materials or Mechanical discipline
C.E.T. designation eligibility considered an asset
Must be an individual with a practical hands-on approach and strong organizational skills
Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment such as Automotive
Demonstrated experience in establishing and working with timelines to achieve objectives
Strong Computer Literacy. Good knowledge of MS Excel and similar Microsoft products
Working knowledge in the use of AutoCad
Working knowledge of basic statistical methods for data analysis and comparisons
Basic ability to read technical drawings
