Qualifications & Experience

You will be working in teams with experienced due diligence professionals, where you will learn and
develop the skills you need to perform due diligence in a range of situations and sectors. There is the
opportunity for and likelihood of travel within MENA. When working on projects you will almost always
be working as part of a wider cross service line team.


Your key responsibilities


As an executive within the Transaction Diligence team, you'll participate in due diligence engagements
related to transactions involving private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers. You'll
analyse the financial and operational results of companies targeted for sale by reviewing accounting
records and participating in interviews with management. You'll work effectively as a team member by
demonstrating your commitment to quality, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining
communication and updating senior team members on progress.


Skills and attributes for success


Individuals with strong analytical skills will flourish in this environment as you will regularly assist in
researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring
and prepare analyses of financial information to assess trends and fluctuations. Good communication
skills will also be a key attribute for success within this role as you will be required to assist in preparing
reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and develop and maintain productive working
relationships with clients.


To qualify for the role you must have


• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting and/or related major.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with previous due diligence exposure.
• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Able to analyse financial and non-financial information to formulate views and conclusions.
• Strong analytical, presentation and report writing skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written English

Technical responsibilities

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A degree in economics, finance, tax or accounting
  • A relevant Masters degree, CPA orACA/CA/CPA/CMA/SOCPA/Law qualification/CTA or equivalent tax qualification
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience as Indirect Tax professional
  • Experience working for a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred. However, we will consider candidates with from law firms or with relevant industry experience
  • Customs duty advisory experience is preferable, but we will also consider candidates with VAT/GST advisory experience

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience working in multicultural teams
  • Good verbal/written communication skills

As an intern, you will participate in our 12-week internship program in our London Data Centers.Duties & Responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to provide our internal workforce with infrastructure related support, resolving tickets related to HW (Motherboard, RAM, CPU, GPU, etc) and networking tickets (Link Down, Optics Replacements, Switch Replacements, etc).In addition to hardware and network repair, interns will learn how to install equipment, create documentation, innovate solutions, and fix complex problems within the data center space.Duties include:
· Hardware troubleshoot in servers which are not live with an AWS technician's supervision
· Understand the importance to meet SLA’s against assigned trouble tickets
· Follow the AWS technician's during network troubleshooting
· Replace Media (SSD/HDD) according with AWS Data Tech guidance
· Perform regular server hardware repairs (drives, motherboards etc) under the guidance of experienced techs
· Interact with third party vendors & contractors who are working on siteAmazon internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks. This position requires the intern to report to work onsite on a daily basis. Intern schedules are typically day schedules, Monday-Friday.
