At Expoint, we are looking for an Analog Layout Physical Design Engineer located in Israel to join our expanding team. Our ideal candidate is a highly organized, visionary problem solver who is experienced in the analog layout physical design area. The mission of the Analog layout physical design engineer is to focus on the electrical plans and design the circuit for the integrated chip. The successful candidate should have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, have a keen eye for detail, and have sufficient knowledge on circuit design. Understand the link between the physical design and electrical performance is a must. The role requires strong collaboration with our other engineers to develop innovative integrated circuit (IC) design solutions. Responsibilities of the position include: • Design and implement integrated circuits in schematics and layouts, providing support to design teams in their analog layout physical design tasks. • Oversee the design process, from initial plans to completion of the required design tasks. • Troubleshoot, debug, and validate new IC designs. • Work together with other departments to ensure the successful completion of projects. • Cooperate with other engineers to ensure timely completion of IC designs. • Ensure the quality and correctness of all completed projects. • Provide technical documentation and customer support. To be considered for this role, you should possess a degree in electronic engineering and have 1 to 3 years of prior experience in design engineering and analog layout physical design. Strong understanding of electrical tolerances, rules and requirements are essential.
