JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Business Relationships: Establishes strategic relationships or a vision for developing a committed and highly satisfied customer.
  • Contribute to building a positive, can-do, high-performance culture.
  • Capable of developing and documenting new business processes and/or optimizing existing processes as required (warehouse, manufacturing).
  • Provides consultative recommendations as well as integration and application design input to the prospect or customer. This includes presenting sales demonstrations with a focus on proactive promotion of business case solutions.
  • Prepares and validates “Return on Investment” analyses for each project pre-sales and post implementation.
  • Participates in joint sales calls with the members of the Honeywell sales team for providing both operational and technical advices.
  • Assists with training partners to increase their ability to sell, implement, and support our solutions.
  • Interacts with and inquires business needs from various customer representatives ranging from executives, senior operations management, IT representatives, warehouse operations
  • Customers: Exhibits extensive knowledge of the customers’ business, strategic drivers, financial requirements and can discuss and demonstrate strategic business value in conversation at the highest levels of the organization; could include competitively advantaged opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted functional and technical advisor to large enterprise clients.
  • Understand customer needs and develop high-quality presentations, proposals and software demonstrations that speak to these needs.
  • Work with the sales team to establish, strengthen and maintain customer strategic relationship with clients & key partners.
  • Work closely with the Sales Director and Director of Solution Consulting to prioritize opportunities.
  • Provide customer feedback to the product management and engineering teams to collect new customer requirements and enhancements.
  • Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams.
  • Provide recommendations for overcoming technical sales objections.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualification:

  • English proficiency + any other language
  • Working Knowledge of End to End Supply Chain Operations
  • Perfect understanding of Warehouse processes (picking, put to store, receiving, …)
  • Ability to recommend process optimization, perform operational audit
  • Deep understanding of solutions and technologies used in WHS/SC operations, such as automated warehouses, robotics, drones, voice, put-to-light
  • Excellent communication, strong listener, presentation and interpersonal skills (empathy)
  • Excellent ability to coach, educate, teach and mentor
  • Comfortable to drive meetings alone or with the BDM or the partners sales/pre-sales teams
  • Enthusiastic about the role
  • Prepared to travel 50-75% of the time
  • Ability to understand and discuss modern software system architecture
  • Understanding of WIFI protocols, interfacing techniques and system-to-system communications.
  • Basic Networking protocol (TCP/IP, HTTPS), software Interoperability architecture (load balancing, cluster, cloud)
  • Demonstrable Ability to Observe, & listen, then Report and propose solution
  • Examples of observational analysis and discovery (of root cause)
  • Demonstrable Experience of creating a value proposition
  • Understand software algorithm and coding, ability to more likely configuration ability and or ability to support PoC’s

Education

  • Experience related to sales in Indirect organization
  • Previous experience in the Warehouse, warehouse optimization, and supply chain sectors (WMS/ERP, Retail, Automotive, Food)
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of supply chain distribution logistics, or in lieu of a degree a minimum of 7 year of supply chain distribution logistics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of on-site customer relationship experience including experience managing multiple, complex projects from start to completion.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a pre-sales role.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience related to sales demonstrations, sales meetings, and customer negotiations.
  • Demonstrated success in applying various solutions within differing environments.
  • Working knowledge of software communication protocol as well as general networking concepts, protocols, and related diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and to prioritize workloads in a dynamic and progressive work environment.
  • Professional written, verbal and presentation skills, ability to effectively interact with all levels of the customer’s environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight approximately 50-70% on an annualized basis.
