About The Role:
You will be the main point of contact for clients regarding billing queries and payment issues, providing professional solutions to maintain strong relationships and support efficient cash flow. You will also collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales, Account Management, and Finance, to ensure billing accuracy and smooth collections processes.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in credit control, billing, or accounts receivable, is highly organized, and enjoys problem-solving in a collaborative environment. Experience with Salesforce, SAP, or similar systems is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update the accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments
- Maintain contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships to maximize collections and prevent disputes
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare credit notes and adjustments when necessary and ensure proper authorization
- Resolve internal and external queries related to outstanding invoices
- Provide practical solutions to client-related payment or billing issues
- Support month-end closing activities related to billing and receivables
- Maintain and update billing records in the accounting system
- Monitor the billing inbox, respond to client inquiries, and resolve billing discrepancies promptly
- Assist with other finance and administrative tasks as needed.
Experience and Soft Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (Credit Control, Accounts
- Receivable, or Billing Administration)
- Alternatively, strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable / Credit Control
- Experience with SAP is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software
- Strong communication skills — Professional or Fluent English required
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines

Senior Advisor / Manager - International Tax and Transaction Services
The pace of change in the international tax landscape in recent years has led to an increased demand for services and support from our clients. With our business expanding accordingly, we are looking for people, who can assist clients on a wide range of Cypriot and international tax matters. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects which are focused on helping clients to develop and execute their international tax strategy, including:
• Managing the risk arising from global tax law change resulting from Global/European developments such as Pillar II Global Minimum Tax
• M&A transactions – pre-transaction reorganisations and post-transaction integration
• IP realignment/optimization transactions
• Corporate restructuring
• Tax efficient financing and treasury management
• Legal structure rationalisation
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Manage the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding tax advisory projects (such as mergers and acquisitions, group restructurings, debt restructurings, IP structuring etc.)
- Work with clients to develop innovative solutions to tax challenges which are aligned with our client’s strategies and operations
- Assist with tax due diligence projects and transactional tax related work
- Assist in the preparation of tax ruling requests
- Liaise and coordinate with colleagues both locally and across the EY network
- Build and maintain client relationships and a professional network in order to identify and develop business opportunities for the firm
- Develop junior team members through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Degree in Law, Finance or Accounting
- At least 3 years of previous relevance experience in the tax services of a reputable large or medium-sized firm
- Master’s Degree in Tax or a qualification in International Tax will be considered as an advantage
- ACCA/ACA qualification is not required but may be considered as an advantage
- Communication and project/team management skills
- Experience of managing a team and/or coaching and developing more junior team members
- Ability to develop trusting and effective working relationships
- Strong understanding of international tax concepts
- Knowledge of Cyprus Tax Laws
- Oral and written communication skills in English
- Analytical, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills
