What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Perform repairs on pumps, valves, actuators, motors, gears, hydraulics, and related equipment

  • Designs, develops and implements Control Systems

  • Programs HMI & servo systems program

Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering or College Diploma

  • Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated skills and experience in controls and data acquisition in an automotive manufacturing environment

  • Ability to function within multidiscipline teams and to act as a team lead on specific projects an asset

Technical & Skill Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, MS Office, etc.)

About the role:

The R&D Manager, Project Management will lead a team of Project Managers responsible for delivering innovative medical technologies within the Electrophysiology (EP) Capital Equipment business. Your responsibilities will include:

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Minimum of 6 years of sales experience, ideally in medical devices calling on cardiology, cath/EP labs, or hospital-based environments

  • Proven success in territory development, sales growth, and customer relationship management

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or MBA

  • Experience in structural heart, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, or related industry

  • Prior experience supporting implantation procedures in cardiovascular or medical device settings

  • Technical aptitude and the ability to communicate complex product information clearly

  • Flexibility to work varied hours and complete a rigorous training program

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be$65,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Perform repairs on pumps, valves, actuators, motors, gears, hydraulics, and related equipment

  • Troubleshoot mechanical systems and recommend repair or replacement actions

  • Interpret O&M manuals, schematics, and design drawings

  • Coordinate with external contractors and inspect completed work

  • Respond to emergency equipment failures and diagnose issues

  • Support special projects, start-up, and commissioning of equipment

  • Maintain accurate records in a computerized maintenance management system

  • Perform welding, pipe fitting, and rigging as required

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001

  • Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • Secondary School Graduation Diploma with a valid Certificate of Apprenticeship

  • Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) in good standing

  • 3–5 years of practical experience preferred

Technical & Skill Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EAM CMMS systems

  • Strong understanding of safety practices under the Occupational Health & Safety Act

  • Ability to interpret schematics, design drawings, and O&M manuals

  • Good communication and collaboration skills

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to noise, heights, confined spaces, and manufacturing conditions

  • Physical demands include climbing, crouching, lifting, and operating material handling equipment

  • Must use specialized protective equipment
