• Prepare journal entries related to manufacturing accounting and inventory reserves to support accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and corporate financial policies
• Process manufacturing orders as part of the month-end close process
• Participate in other monthly close activities for plants in area of responsibility
• Prepare account reconciliations to ensure proper balance sheet valuation
• Calculate standard costing of products in SAP as part of new product workflow
• Monitor variances to standard cost and correct any erroneous errors
• Support the periodic cycle count process
• Reconcile 3rd party warehouses
• Ensure appropriate controls and compliance with US GAAP
• Support and assist other functions within the business as required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with a focus in Accounting or Finance preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• 3+ years of accounting experience required

• Accounting experience, preferable in a manufacturing environment using SAP or other ERP
• Understanding of GAAP and internal control principles
• Highly proficient in written and spoken English

• Deliver timely and accurate performance against assigned accounts receivable activities
• Review and action of VFX3 to ensure correct accounting of billing documents
• Sending of requested finance documents (invoices, credits, statements etc.) to internal and external customers
• Process manual invoice and credit transactions as required
• Upload invoices onto customer portals
• Resolution of customer queries
• Support daily cash applications when needed
• Ensure relevant SLA’s and KPI’s are achieved
• Liaise closely with Credit Risk, Collections and Cash Applications teams

Note: This is a Fixed-Term Contract

Perform a wide variety of mechanical, as well as pneumatic maintenance activities and some basic electrical activities on various pieces of equipment to maintain safe operations of equipment while maintaining production goals and quality standards. Other responsibilities include sourcing parts for obsoleted parts and ordering them, documenting all the maintenance activities performed, PM's, installation, and validations of equipment. Will support and help other groups like Process, QA and Facilities in resolving problems, improvements, investigations etc. In this role you will Service/maintain several machines, while learning the others in the departmet. Work from prints, sketches, sample parts, verbal, or written instructions. Interpret drawings, select material plan, and layout work in proper operational sequence. Maintain and setup Vision Systems during production.

• Identify problems by reading schematics/prints, where available, and make necessary repairs on the equipment or system to ensure safe operation of the machine or system
• Troubleshoot and adjust or repair ancillary equipment like Blow overs, Bulb pullers, Heater
• Changeovers and setups on Vision Systems, make minor adjustments as required
• Perform ink mixing as well as disposing of procedure as per set Safety/QA guidelines, for printing machines
• Perform necessary oil changes on machine gear boxes and dispose of used oil per established procedure
• Rebuild/retrofit machine or machine components as per specifications
• Perform installation, replacement or decommissioning of equipment
• Perform validations, as necessary, for equipment
• Work with training department to train new mechanics on machine repair, setup and related plant procedures
• Complete PM’s on or before the due date and communicate to proper authority of job completion
• Source obsoleted parts for equipment and make them stock item
• Identify and locate parts in the stock room through MP2 or other such system
• Participate in various company run programs like CI, Safety initiatives, Audits, investigations etc.
• Support projects and improvement initiatives from engineering, process, QA, Safety and operations group
• Document performed tasks for the day into the maintenance log, before the end of the shift

• Complete global Post Market Surveillance (PMS) activities and assignments for Administration and Safety System medical devices in West’s portfolio.
• Support establishment and maintenance of procedures, work instructions, and templates associated with PMS activities.
• Responsible for complaint monitoring and adverse event reporting globally.
• Author with guidance to create PMS Plans, PMS Reports including Periodic safety update reports (PSUR), China NMPA Periodic Risk Evaluation Reports (PRER), Canada Summary Reports and other reports required by various health authorities along with supporting the maintenance of appropriate Design History File (DHF) documents and Risk Management Files (RMF).
• Support the creation and streamline of processes to assure proactive surveillance (database searches, questionnaire) and reactive surveillance (complaints handling, field actions) is conducted accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members in collecting, reviewing and analyzing and reporting on safety and performance data to identify potential adverse safety risks or performance trends.

• Collaborate with RA submission teams to support timely and quality regulatory submissions and approvals globally.
• Maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work responsibilities or environment; adjust effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.

5+ years (with bachelor’s degree) or 3+ years (with Master’s/PhD degree) of medical device regulatory experience.

• Advanced knowledge of global device adverse event/incident reporting requirements

• Minimum US Class II and EU Class IIa device experience
• Knowledge of 21 CFR 803/806/820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, EU MDD (93/42/EEC) and MDR (2017/745) and ISO 14971
