Overview of Job Function:

The Vice President of Treasury and Risk Management leads and maintains stewardship for financial assets and debt including overall leadership of the cash management, debt management, and investment management functions of the organization and its affiliated entities. The VP ensures the maintenance of corporate liquidity and financial stability. The role develops and leads strategies, operations, policies, and budgets relating to treasury activities. Additionally, the role directs development and revision of financial policies for capital structure, working capital, treasury operations, foreign exchange interest rate risk management, and insurance risk management. The role directs capital markets, borrowing, investing, foreign exchange, treasury operations, financial risk management, and corporate finance initiatives. The VP supervises the maintenance of internal controls designed to safeguard corporate assets and the integrity of its fiscal systems. In addition, they oversee the organization’s comprehensive insurance and risk management program, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the organization.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily management of cash and debt.
  • Oversee all back-office support for in-house banking, netting, and pooling.
  • Prepare consolidated cash flow projections.
  • Establish fixed income investment positions.
  • Assess foreign exchange risk and implement hedge programs and strategies.
  • Monitor and prepare loan covenant compliance.
  • Evaluate capital expenditures, investment activities, and portfolio management.
  • Maintain and cultivate banking, credit rating agencies, and investment banking relationships.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization (i.e., evaluation of potential alliances, acquisitions, and/or mergers and investments).
  • Analyze and recommend potential alternative financing structures and explain/show their impact on EPS, balance sheet, tax effects, and financial ratios.
  • Support investor relations.
  • Act in a lead role in capital structure, debt management, bond issuance, and/or share repurchases to ensure the most efficient use of the company’s capacity and borrowed monies.
  • Support M&A activity related to treasury functions, including financial modeling, due diligence, and treasury integration.
  • Manage global insurance programs and counterparty assurance programs (surety bonds, bank guarantees and letters of credit).
  • Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities and identify and address risks in the organization’s services and departments.
  • Oversee bank Know Your Customer and other banking regulatory compliance aspects.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance and treasury
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience
  • Knowledge of capital markets, accounting, finance, and tax
  • Technical experience in accounting standards, procedures, and policies
  • MS Office Suite experience required, with advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to interact with multiple departments
  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations

  • Business Acumen: General knowledge and understanding of sales processes, performance metrics, and incentive compensation strategies
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication with stakeholders across different departments is key for gathering requirements and explaining complex incentive plans and calculations
  • Strong problem-solving skills to execute multiple and concurrent time-sensitive processes

  • Execute the Company’s sales strategies and support achievement of established sales quota. Sales quota will be based on assigned quota as well as national targets.
  • The leadership point of contact for Platform Consultant into the solution sales organization for staffing requests based upon the requirements of the opportunity; this includes ensuring that all approved opportunities are well qualified and appropriate for presales team engagement.
  • Drives sales best practices and ensures all steps of the sales cycle are completed.
  • Collaborates with Solution Principals and sales teams to define/execute account and opportunity strategy. Leads or delegates customer discovery calls to discover key business objectives, and the corresponding value associated with meeting those objectives.
  • Assigns Platform Consultant in coordination to determine best suited resource to win the opportunity. Leverages their broad solution knowledge to assist with creative solution strategy, ensuring delivery of the most competitive, value-based solution Verint can offer to meet customer objectives.
  • On larger transactions (>$500k) plays active role in leading the presales team through the sales cycle including engagement of additional Solution Sales team members (coordinates discovery process, leads dry runs, attends key deal events, manages post demo debriefs etc.) Participates/Leads sales support team in key sales activities for the region; acts as facilitator, participates as the Senior SME.
  • Provides feedback to Platform Consultants on performance and skills. Facilitates bi-directional communication; communicates best practices, competitive intelligence, new approaches gathered/developed by Presales back to the SC team.
  • Collaborates with Sales RVPs and SPs and AEs where needed.
  • Orchestrates and participates in customer facing events, includes ensuring a facilitator is assigned for each event (facilitator may be AE, Platform Consultant or solution consultant). This ensures Verint differentiation is reinforced and understood by customers, ensuring transitions are smooth, open items tracked, and required follow- up.
  • Ability to lead and drive assigned projects across a highly matrixed organization - ensuring milestones and deliverables are completed according to plan. This may include but is not limited to cross-functional launch plans.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in training/education/consulting.
  • 8 years of professional, functional experience (e.g., consulting, sales operations, sales enablement) with 5 years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders, secure alignment, and drive projects to completion.
  • Ability to lead multiple detailed projects and program elements in a fast-paced challenging environment.
  • Exceptional communications skills, with the ability to communicate and present effectively to multiple levels across the organization in both one-on-one and group settings. Attention to detail.

  • Experience in AI and Data Science. Practical knowledge preferred; however good working knowledge is also acceptable.
  • Should have in-depth knowledge of contact center operation either in a vendor capacity or have implemented solutions across the contact center as a practitioner.
  • Working knowledge of the data ecosystems such CRMs, CDPs and ERPs.
  • Architectural knowledge of data lakes and data warehouses. Especially Amazon, GCP, Microsoft Azure and Snowflake.
