  • Partner with HR & other partners to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Optimize performance, rationalize redundant reports, and support audits, integrations, and KPIs.
What we're looking for
  • Hands-on Workday reporting experience with Report Writer, advanced/matrix reports, and calculated fields.
  • Strong understanding of Workday HCM data model, business processes, and report security concepts.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders; excellent requirements gathering and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to validate data, reconcile discrepancies, and implement data governance practices.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver with strong prioritization and delivery discipline.
You might also have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, HR, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

What you'll be doing
  • Perform monthly revenue accounting close responsibilities, including but not limited to: GAAP revenue analysis, unrecognized revenue analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and close packages.
  • Review revenue agreements and address any revenue considerations in accordance with ASC 606 and prepare documentation of non-standard contracts, including research and analysis of complex revenue recognition issues.
  • Work cross-functionally with Technical accounting, Finance, Legal, Sales, Sales Operations, FP&A, AR, IT, and various business owners on policies, processes, and programs to help drive key initiatives and improvements.
  • Prepare audit schedules and assist with the internal and external audit process.
  • Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to participating in special projects, product implementations, system enhancements and ad hoc analyses as assigned.
What we're looking for
  • Chartered Accountants, CPA’s or similarly quantitative/analytical degrees coupled with understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial concepts
  • Revenue accounting experience (ASC 606/IFRS15)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and digest large amounts of data

What you'll be doing
  • Accounting Policies: Maintain and update global accounting policies, including the adoption of new accounting standards in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders by responding to technical accounting inquiries and prepare accounting memorandums for non-standard accounting transactions.
  • Financial Statement Updates: Update financial statement disclosures and footnote schedules for 10Q/10K filings. Support the revenue accounting team in the preparation of contract reviews that require significant judgment or are significant in value.
  • Internal Controls and SOX Compliance: Ensure the internal controls related to accounting policies are designed, implemented, and operating effectively for SOX compliance. Assist the Stock Compensation team in review of material stock modifications.
  • Support and Reporting: Support the company in completing special projects, as assigned. Prepare ad-hoc reporting based on inquiries received from third parties (i.e., government bodies) and/or our internal business partners.
What we're looking for
  • Comprehensive and current understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting principles and regulations, specifically revenue recognition and stock compensation
  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent certification required

This is a hybrid role based in our Bangalore office. General working hours for this role will be 2pm-11pm IST during the weekdays.

What you'll be doing
  • Oversee the month-end close process, including the preparation of payroll and stock journal entries for AMER, EMEA, and India, and ensure the accuracy of related balance sheet reconciliations. Also, manage the period-end close process by ensuring the timely completion of all accounting entries and reconciliations.
  • Adhere to the monthly close calendar and related checklists to ensure journal entries are prepared and reviewed promptly. Also, implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables in compliance with GAAP.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and proper process/policy documentation. Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure continued compliance with SOX and manage audits as directed.
  • Manage relationships with all stakeholders, including the payroll service provider for improvements, and foster strong collaboration with the payroll and Finance Team. Also, reconcile all payroll-related general ledger accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate balances in financial documents. Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations and load them in Blackline. Also, bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process.
What we're looking for
  • Possess accounting experience in payroll and general accounting, with knowledge of payroll-related requirements and regulations. Preferred experience with Workday, Blackline, and Floqast.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently on regular routine assignments, including managing time to meet critical deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all assignments and in all information obtained, performing with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and flexibility to work extended hours during critical periods such as quarter-end and year-end.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization both internally and externally. Good working knowledge of Microsoft business suite with strong Excel skills.
