The Growth Operations Manager role at Uber is an important and multifaceted role responsible for driving growth and user adoption initiatives. This role requires a skilled and experienced operations professional to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Marketing, Design, and Engineering, to achieve shared objectives.
The right candidate must be able to take a holistic approach to operational tasks, taking into account user behavior, product development, and technical feasibility. This person will be an organizational force, able to bridge cross functional teams in order to identify, recommend, and pursue user growth opportunities.
The Growth Operations Manager works to steer Uber’s growth strategies and tactics with a focus on driving user engagement and growth through experimentation and the use of data-driven metrics. This role entails regularly analyzing data trends and developing user/product insights that inform the product/growth strategy.
This highly visible position requires a candidate with superb organizational and communication skills, as well as active listening skills to understand user feedback and uncover emerging user trends. This candidate will be expected to plan and execute experiments, leading experiment design with a data-driven approach.
