As a member of the Global Purchasing Operations team, you will support various aspects of the purchasing process, including:

  • Processing purchasing requests in accordance with internal processes and procedures
  • Preparing reports
  • Providing training and support to users in purchasing processes
  • Participating in international projects
  • Contributing to the creation and implementation of global procedures
Your experience and qualifications
  • Fluency in German and/or Dutch and English
  • Experience in purchasing roles is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or Ariba is a plus
  • Willingness to work in an international environment
  • Customer-oriented, reliable, and a strong team player

Description:
How you’ll spend your day
  • Technical/functional knowledge in Accounting and reporting process area
  • Ensuring that accruals are properly recorded and analyzed
  • Preparation of Journal Entries & Supporting schedule
  • Supporting monthly and quarterly activities of multiple entities
  • Analysis of the various accounts and variances per legal entities, obtain explanation on deviations and prepare a summarized reporting on a monthly basis within scheduled time
  • Preparation and review of account reconciliations
  • Overall understanding of how processes within Financial Reporting area influences system feeds and final reports
  • Supporting standardization of processes and tasks across the team
  • Acting as a key contact for local and global teams for record-to-report related questions
  • Ensuring that accounting books and records comply with accounting policies and regulations
  • Providing supporting documents and explanations for all internal and external audits as and when required
  • Participating in ad-hoc projects
Your experience and qualifications
  • University education in Accounting or Finance required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and/or auditing
  • Preferably familiar with US GAAP
  • Good knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Act and/or internal control concepts
  • Good working knowledge of SAP or any other ERPs
  • Good understanding of accounting and reporting processes
  • Good analytical skills
  • Fluent verbal and written communication in English, other language is a plus
  • Experience in a multinational firm or within a shared service center is preferred
  • Hands-on and proactive; strong organizational skills
  • Accustomed to working with deadlines, in a dynamic environment
  • Results driven and service-oriented to internal and external customers
  • Excellent collaboration with colleagues within the local organization and with the colleagues of the global business service to support the overall Finance department’s goals and objectives
  • Flexible and able to work in a changing environment
  • Strong focus on improvement opportunities
  • Want to work in a new established team

  • Contribute to rate card management, ensuring accuracy and consistency across legal service providers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve legal workflows and system integrations.
  • Generate reports and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement within Legal Operations.
  • Maintain documentation and support audits and internal controls related to legal spend and vendor governance.
Your experience and qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferably up to 3 years of experience in legal operations, legal analytics, or a similar role—experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Required excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with legal billing systems, eBilling platforms, and vendor management tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred skills
  • Experience with legal operations technologies (e.g., eBilling, matter management, spend analytics).
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis tools.
