What You’ll Do
  • Plan, organize, direct, and conduct industrialization related activities within the supply chain team
  • Develop, manage, audit, improve and correct supplier planning and execution of component manufacturing and assembly techniques and quality control processes from the advanced development phase to mass production qualification
  • Facilitate communication and clarification of technical requirements between Suppliers and Tesla Purchasing, Quality, and Design teams
  • Accountable for supplier audits to ensure their ability to meet part performance, delivery, and reliability expectations, including recurrent visits to lead track and improve supplier manufacturing processes and launch readiness for new products and design changes, provide leadership on continues improvements in scalability, cost and quality
  • Guide suppliers in developing exceptionally robust processes and procedures to promote efficient and seamless production of high quality products, validate supplier corrective actions involving design and/or process changes to ensure they are robust, sustainable, and implemented for similar potential concerns across manufacturing lines and/or suppliers
  • Provide input on new or alternative materials for improved design, manufacturability, or cost reduction
  • Participate in supplier DFM Review, guide suppliers in efficient use of error proofing, automation, best methods of gauging, and correct tools or assembly equipment to use
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in Materials or Plastics Engineering, evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Processing, Designing or Developing Plastic components or assemblies
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge in polymer science and engineering with expertise on material selection process for specific application
  • Knowledge of various plastic and composite material properties and their testing standards
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and have excellent team building skills in dealing with suppliers, peers, and other functional areas
  • Strong technical writing ability and an ability to explain complex issues in a concise and plain manner as well as be familiar with SPC and data analysis

  • Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, using Tesla project management tools to track timelines and report key information
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in body/paint tech, operations, chemicals, or related fields (collision experience a plus)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects with attention to detail

  • Tool and Die trade obtained at a die design and build facility including hands-on CNC die surface machining, welding, and spotting experience

The Finance Operation Specialist will report directly to the Finops Supervisor and will assist in the day-to-day activities and various responsibilities pertaining to customer billing, cash application, investigation, reconciliation, and reporting within the organization.   • Researching and processing incoming requests from internal and external customers
  • Analyze and validate customer, product, and pricing data for completeness and accuracy
  • Validate and confirm system production data against guaranteed output
  • Investigate a resolve issues by reviewing historical transactions, contract data, reverse engineering, and coordination across multiple departments
  • Accurate and timely responses to requests from internal customers including accounting, sales, customer care, legal, and senior management
  • Create, upload, and modify journal entries into accounting system
  • Generate payment requests from several internal departments
What You’ll Bring
