What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage Supplier Quality Engineers and Supplier Quality Assurance including incoming inspection team: engineers, technicians, team leaders and supervisors.
  • Provide 3PL supervisions and make daily job observation audits to be sure that sorting and rework going according to work instruction and Tesla specification
  • Develop annual work plan strategy for SQE, SQA and SQI team members
  • Establish and maintain quality metrics and objectives, including safety, quality, and efficiency targets
  • Work closely with Production, Engineers, GSM and Suppliers to assure certified material is delivered to the line and all non-conforming parts contained and properly dispositioned.
  • Daily inventory audit performing to security that good material available for production and all quarantine parts moved on to not-nettable location
  • Participate on daily shop floor cross functional meetings
  • To ensure “Supplier Corrective Action Requests process” in place and all associated bad parts quality cost properly documented
  • Control that all 3PL service covered by Purchasing Order (PO)
  • Support the ongoing optimization of the processes with respect to both cost, efficiency and timeliness.
  • Return Back to Vendor process coordination with material planner and suppliers
  • Monitor key performance metrics to drive reduction in repeating SCARs, Product Audit SCORE, open sorts as well as reduction in MRB inventory.
  • Maintain an audit program to assure standardized work and processes are followed.
  • Develop and lead training programs for engineers and technicians in advanced problem-solving, deploy these tools at suppliers. team members and annual hiring plan completion
  • Coordinate with NPI and SIE new model launch changes and supplier process changes
  • Arrange preventing and emergence supplier audits to confirm the product corresponding customer requirements
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years’ leadership experience in a technology manufacturing environment, with people who make direct report
  • Ability to drive cross-functional action, make quick decisions under pressure, and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Experience working in a complex, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
  • Proficient knowledge in applying business system applications: MFS, FX, MRB
  • Supplier Quality and Supplier developing experience +5 years
  • Quality and problem solving tools expert: TQP, 8D, PFMEA, Pareto, 5why
  • A deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, 5S, TPS, etc desired
  • Higher education and Driver License category “B”
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and intuition, with experience in quality management systems and tools
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Fluent in English, German and other languages are a plus

  • Conduct audits and assessments of OEM measuring processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with our quality standards
  • Develop and implement measurement validation plans to ensure that our OEM partners' measuring processes are validated and compliant with our quality requirements
  • Validate the design, development, and qualification of measuring fixtures and gauges used by OEM partners to ensure that they meet our quality standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with OEM partners, quality engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to measuring process and fixture validation
  • Analyze data and reports from OEM partners to ensure that their measuring processes and fixtures are producing accurate and reliable results

Measuring Fixture Validation Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate the design and development of measuring fixtures and gauges used by OEM partners to ensure compliance with our quality standards and regulations
  • Conduct qualification and validation activities for measuring fixtures and gauges, including layout inspection, functional gauging, and performance testing
  • Develop and implement fixture validation plans to ensure that measuring fixtures and gauges are qualified and validated to our quality requirements
  • Collaborate with OEM partners and quality engineers to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to fixture validation
  • Analyze data and reports from fixture validation activities to ensure that measuring fixtures and gauges are producing accurate and reliable results
What You’ll Bring
  • Certified Metrology Technician (CMT) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
  • Experience in Supplier Industrialization, Customer Quality, and Product or Application Development at Raw Material producer or qualified automotive supplier
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE)
  • Experience working with OEM supply chains and managing multiple vendor relationships
  • Familiarity with CAD design and fixture design software, such as SolidWorks or CATIA
  • Knowledge of PPAP/APQP processes and automotive technical knowledge
  • Excellent spoken and written English
