  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Tesla’s utility product and work to continuously improve how to deploy it faster and more cost efficiently.
  • Support the bid process and be involved at the pre-contract stage for EPC projects.
  • Communicate with a range of stakeholders internally (sales, engineering, deployment, and procurement) and externally (Tesla’s customers).
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering (preferably civil)
  • 3+ years’ experience in construction projects in similar position
  • Good understanding of project controls (cost and schedule), Primavera P6 or equivalent
  • Good understanding of autocad or other drafting software
  • Ability to review a BOM BOQ and put together robust cost tools to make data easy to interpret
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Experience with fast-paced organisations and ability to prioritise and execute many projects and tasks in parallel
  • MRICS accreditation preferred
  • Renewables experience preferred
  • Knowledge of constructability, engineering fundamentals, HV substations is a plus
  • Some interstate travel may be required

As a Warranty Coordinator you will be responsible for handling all RMA cases, contacting Tesla Certified Installers to agree on delivery of new components and documentation around all of this. You will be the link between our service coordination and our field service team; you will ensure that all spare part requirements are handled with great care and that our team of field technicians receive parts in time. Operating out of our office in Melbourne, you will be supporting our project planning, daily service operations, spare parts stock and small order picking.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage Service spares in and out of Product Distribution Centers
  • Stock management, optimizing parts mix and identifying slow and fast movers to avoid excess stock
  • Handle goods received and dispatch from Melbourne Service center
  • Keep a clean and transparent inventory database for Field Service locations
  • Handle RMA transactions, inventory management, demand planning with factory, shipping and parts distribution to service techs, MRB
  • Support Field Teams in parts ordering and return
  • Support Service teams with Continuous Improvement, Kanban Systems and 5S of Service Operations centers
  • Actively participate in project and weekly planning, tracking and reporting

  • Monitor inventory within the system, complete regular cycle counts, and communicate material updates and availability with relevant team members
  • Source parts from distribution centers and other locations and allocate them to job picks
  • Process shipments from vendors and cross-check invoice accuracy while following document retention standards
  • Follow-up with vendors on transit damage and shipment issues
  • Prepare defective Tesla-manufactured parts for shipment to other Tesla Facilities or third party for Failure Analysis, Remanufacturing or Warranty Replacement.
  • Process, prepare and return non-Tesla-manufactured defective material to vendors under warranty
  • Manage proper disposal of old/broken material and hazardous materials if determined for scrap
  • Pick-up and transport parts using van or forklift, when necessary, to support fleet operations and prevent customer re-schedules
  • Maintain excellent organization of warehouse area to 5S standard
  • Organize material where it improves pick efficiency and accuracy
  • Support specialized tools and personal protective equipment used by field teams
  • Report events (injury, illnesses, property equipment damage, auto, environmental release, etc.) immediately to direct manager
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs
What You’ll Bring

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day including but not limited to:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Repetitively climb stairs, bend, kneel, push, pull, crouch, and reach inside vehicles/ warehouses
  • Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
  • Work around confined spaces and manage chemicals
  • Wear required PPE, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, hard hats, hi-vis vest, and follow all environmental health and safety guidelines
