As an Associate in Equity Research in the mining group, you will have an opportunity to work directly with an equity analyst on the daily publication of company and industry research reports. You will hone research skills, gain detailed understanding of the sectors covered and obtain insight into the institutional equity business.

Job Description:

• Work closely with an analyst to develop an idea-oriented research team
• Assist in the preparation of financial models to forecast quarterly and annual earnings, including maintaining and enhancing financial models and databases
• Compile and evaluate company and industry data
• Assist in the development of valuation tool
• Assist in the preparation of company and industry research reports (e.g. quarterly reporting initiatives and marketing packages)

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work independently under strict deadlines, with an attention to detail and output orientation
• 2+ years of experience in the field working as a geologist/at a mine or for a mining company in a technical role
• Strong work ethic, ability to take initiative and balance multiple tasks
• Superior business writing skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills

Reporting to the VP, Talent Acquisition, the AVP, Executive Talent Acquisition is an integral member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership team as well as the broader HR function and is specifically accountable for leading HR's approach to executive talent acquisition. • Provide strategic direction and seamless execution of the organization's global executive talent acquisition and experience.
