PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

  • Application specific solution consulting (for a specific application: creation of business blueprint, Implementation based on a blue print, creation of test cases, test scheduling and execution, key user training, go live support, and post go live support)
  • Support in escalated projects
  • Performance of feasibility studies / solution reviews
  • Support of pre-sales activities/ scoping/ system demo
  • High-level project management and solution architecture

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

  • Taking over responsibility from time to time as a sub project team leader
  • Takes responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks
  • Detailed planning of process implementation
  • Define detailed blueprint for development requirements
  • Industry /corporate process implementation across all related applications (SAP/non-SAP)
  • Develop and Assure quality of process models
  • Demonstrating profound knowledge of modelling standards and tools
  • Knowledge in features and configuration of SAP Successfactors Modules
  • Sufficient HR domain knowledge related to the products for process discussions with HR leaders
  • Ability to review existing processes then give accurate estimation and scoping for new SAP Successfactors implementation / migrations.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Functional Experience

  • Experience in SF Employee Central (EC) is required.
  • Experience in EC Time Off, Time Tracking, SAP SuccessFactors (SF) Employee Central Payroll (EC Payroll) will be our first preference. Thereafter candidates with understanding of other SAP SuccessFactors modules will be considered.
  • Candidates with understanding of SAP HCM Time and Payroll will also be considered.
  • Good understanding of industry specific business processes (if applicable)
  • Has performed at least one feasibility study
  • Ideally has implemented SAP HCM or SAP Successfactors modules in a partner organization or has experience being involved in an SAP Successfactors project with a previous customer

Managerial Experience

  • Takes responsibility from time to time as a sub project leader
  • Acts as a coach for colleagues
  • Mentor new consultants

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Relevant certification in the areas of functional experience
  • Local language: Fluent.
  • English: Fluent/ Working Level will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of additional language is desirable.
  • Formal certification and education qualification in HR domain will be additional advantage.

Solution Design

  • Lead business and technical requirement gathering sessions and design workshops on projects with varying complexity.
  • Consult with the customer on solutions that create long term customer satisfaction using standard and recommended approaches.

Project Execution

  • Create and maintain requirements documentation
  • Monitor project tasks and milestones to ensure adherence to the project schedule.
  • Analyze large data sets to identify root causes, consult on possible solutions, document issues, test solutions and implement remediation.
  • Coordinate, plan and own integration test activities for both unit, systems and customer facing end-to-end testing.
  • Participate in preparation and delivery of project transition activities including lessons learned, next phase considerations, client portfolio documentation and solution design presentation.
  • Leverage expertise of the Fieldglass integration platform to add value for our customers.

Overall Expectations

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously with differing responsibilities.
  • Ensure project status is clearly and concisely reported within project team and Fieldglass management.
  • Proactively develop expert level of SAP Fieldglass application/integration knowledge through planned training activities, self-study, and collaborating with internal team members.
  • Develop effective relationships with internal and external resources throughout organizational hierarchy.
  • Participate in internal cross training initiatives and opportunities.
  • Proactively identifies and communicates operational improvements to manager.
  • Execute job responsibilities per established company policies, processes, procedures or as directed by manager
  • Document and communicate integration lessons learned to integration team and manager for purposes of improving operations and self.

We’re Looking For:

  • Strong background with solid applicable work experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Information Technology, Business Administration or other discipline related to functional work.
  • Proven track record of solving complex problems by analyzing variables, recognizing root causes, identifying possible solutions, partnering with team members to determine the best solution and implementing the solution.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products including MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Able to quickly learn specialized software to complete work assignments.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand, solution oriented and achieves results.
  • Active listening techniques to understand issues, requirements, and situations.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships quickly with a wide range of organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently with a sense of urgency.
  • Detail orientated, strong work ethic and dedication to go above and beyond.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur – integration knowledge is highly preferred but functional also highly valued.
  • Familiarity with common integration data and file formats such as XML, XSD, XSLT, cXML, HRXML, csv, etc.
  • Understanding of database concepts/structure with some SQL skills.
  • Clear understanding and experience working with web services and other technologies used to transport data between systems (i.e. SFTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS).
  • Experience with SAML Single Sign On integration.

The Data Services Consultant manages a client portfolio and works with each client to craft a reporting strategy and recommends best practice reports for specific client profiles, industries, or use cases. For client requested custom reports, you will gather business requirements, translate those business requirements into data and design, build the reports or dashboards, and work with the clients to distribute the results throughout their companies. At times, you may be called upon to conduct online or in-person training for clients who wish to learn how to use the reporting tool or learn more about the data model of the SAP Concur solutions. You will also be responsible for updating progress in a project tracking tool. This role gets you very close to the client and can lead to challenging and diverse tasks helping the client better manage their spend.

YOUR TASKS:

  • You will collect requirements from clients regarding their business and reporting needs
  • You will work with data and develop reports for the clients in IBM Cognos
  • You will help clients interpret the reports
  • You will make policy proposals to clients based on the reporting to manage their costs
  • You will establish reporting strategies with and for clients

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BSc or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Economics
  • Good understanding and use of business intelligence solutions, experience in working with large data sets
  • Working experience in client facing role is a big plus
  • SQL, advanced MS Excel is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform under stress possibly on multiple concurrent tasks
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and team player
  • Experience with SAP Concur solutions is a plus
  • Fluency in English is a must
