In this role, you’ll:

The Digital Content Production Intern is responsible for writing and producing sales campaign emails/copy (we call them SPRINTS) that are executed using Outreach.io sequences. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on copywriting skills.


• A digital native with proven experience in copywriting and email communications.

• A storyteller and content creator with a knack for making technical material compelling, accessible and relevant to various target audiences.

• A multiplier; someone who goes beyond the job description to contribute strongly to others on a high performing team.

• A creative and critical thinker who thrives when experimenting and iterating to improve results.

• Adept at tailoring tone, content and framing of communications materials to best resonate with target audiences.

• Flexible, self-aware, highly motivated, and open to feedback.

• Sales email campaign copywriting.

• Coordinate and manage sales campaign content strategy and implementation.

• Coordinate and qualify incoming requests for new projects.

• Interface and collaborate with stakeholders and teams across the organization to execute on sales campaigns.

What You Bring:

  • Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field. Graduating Seniors/2nd Year Masters highly desirable.

    • Preferred Concentrations: English, Communication, Business Administration, etc

  • Eligibility : Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program

  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently

  • Ability and confidence to conduct research and self-educate on job related soft skills

  • Possesses a positive self-motivated can-do attitude

Overall Description

The purpose of this position is to extend SAP's market coverage in the dedicated segment by generating new pipeline through:

  1. Executing Targeted Outbound Campaigns via phone, chat and email. For targeted outbound campaigns, leads will be qualified according to the applicable methodology, and handed over to Sales using standard global process.
  2. Accelerating pipeline and increasing conversion by executing programmatic recycled (discontinued / disqualified leads) and reconstituted nurturing (aged pipeline)
  3. Nurturing leads received from other demand generation functions and progressing stalled pipeline. For targeted outbound campaigns, leads will be qualified according to the applicable methodology, and handed over to Sales using standard global process.

Digital Sales Development Associate generates and qualifies leads through proper means, and nurtures aging leads and opportunities, and eventually hands over fully qualified leads to their assigned Account Executives for further sales progress.The Digital Sales Development Associate will be co-located in the Digital Hub. They will be joining in territory and account planning to support the team and will be the future candidate pool for transition into sales roles.

Campaign Execution & Lead Management:

  • Plan and execute call and e-mail activities to generate leads using the most efficient means together with manager/expert
  • Support and cooperate with Field Marketing, Solution Specialists, Account Executives
  • Align with Sales colleagues for most effective territory planning and execution, covering all routes to market
  • Generate and qualify leads through proper means (cold calling, phone campaigns, email actions, etc.) in alignment with management
  • Pass qualified leads to Sales resource for opportunity management and execution
  • Regularly review lead pipeline and progression. Proactively give qualitative and quantitative feedback to Marketing on campaigns using standard procedures and reports

Training & Enablement:

  • Assist in activities to enhance demand generation and product/solution skills
  • Be active part of either classroom, e-learning, virtual classroom, or mentor-lead activities
  • Complete all enablement requested in a timely manner

Experience and Language Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Demand Generation or Inside Sales environment.
  • Preferably Digital (Remote) Experience, specifically in high volume of customer facing experience, phone-centric work.
  • High volume activity working environments, involving phone and a CRM/ Contact Management System.
  • Fluency in English & Japanese .
  • Fluency in any other regional language is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
