What you’ll do

Duration: 12 months (+ possible prolongation until the full-time active student status criteria is met)

Time schedule: min. 24 hours/week (available time schedules 24 / 30 / 32 / 40)

• Assist in organization of learning materials
• Help in administrative tasks (reporting, data analyzing, etc)
• Follow operational procedures for sales, finance, and legal requirements, and maintain records
• Assist in verifying customer information and contract terms to prevent revenue issues

What you'll do

As a software development student in our Strategic Frontrunner Projects Team, you will support the implementation innovative and strategic projects that come directly from SAP’s senior executives. You will be part of a collaborative and technology-focused team that builds cutting-edge solutions to help shape the future generations of SAP software. Under the mentorship of experienced development colleagues, you will have the chance to engage in tasks that span from requirements engineering, software design, implementation, testing, to deployment.

In addition to that, you will have the opportunity to directly work with an agile team also containing fellow students with a tech and design background to bring creative ideas together and jointly ship applications to end users.

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university of applied sciences in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Language skills: Fluent in German or English (written and spoken)

Computer skills:

• Solid foundational knowledge in computer science and software engineering methodology
• Experience in source code management (e.g., git)
• Knowledge in state-of-the-art web or mobile technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, xCode, Android Studio,…)
• Experience in Frontend and / or Backend Development ( e.g.,TypeScript, Python, Rust, Go, Swift, Kotlin…)

What you'll do

• Prepare and perform ad-hoc reviews as well standard controls (SOX and non-SOX).
• Identification of potential risks and implementation of mitigation measures both under IFRS policies and local GAAP.
• Automation of the activities and related reports in oversight processes, including in the area of AI.
• Cooperate with different GAR&T stakeholders, external auditors, Global Risk and Assurance Services, Global Tax, Global Finance Shared Services, controlling and other corporate functions.

Experience & Language Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in sales of complex business software / IT solutions
• Experience selling in the Insurance Industry

• Demonstrated success with large transactions and lengthy sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market.
