Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to advisor for HANA Cloud migrations and transformation engagements.
  • Guide customers on transitioning from legacy/on-premise systems HANA, Sybase databases to cloud-native data platforms.
  • Support account teams in structuring and progressing strategic HANA Cloud and IBM ASE cloud opportunities.
  • Deliver both standard and customized solution demonstrations
  • Support the account teams in identifying and qualifying new opportunities
  • Evaluate account qualification criteria and fine-tune account strategy
  • Collaborate on creating overall themes and competitive differentiation
  • Support execution of regional HANA Cloud campaigns and demand generation activities.
  • Conduct dry runs for strategic deals and customer engagements
  • Transition engagements to implementation partners effectively
  • Engage in storytelling that connects HANA Cloud to tangible business outcomes and industry narratives.
  • Analyze industry and technology trends around data platforms, AI-readiness, and cloud transformations.
  • Leverage digital assets throughout customer engagements
  • Partner with Customer Success, Product Management, Value Engineering, and Ecosystem teams to ensure customer success.
  • Help define reference architectures and collaborate on large-scale transformation programs.
  • Share insights and success stories across regions to scale impact and consistency.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise data platforms, architecture, or solution advisory roles.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud, SAP BTP, and cloud data management principles.
  • Experience driving or supporting large data migrations and transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of hyperscaler ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid-cloud patterns.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value.
  • Excellent storytelling, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strongly Preferred

  • Familiarity with SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Business AI.
  • Experience with AI/ML adoption narratives and data-driven transformation strategies.
  • Prior exposure to pre-sales or sales execution support roles.
  • Understanding of SAP’s GTM motions and internal tools/processes.

What you'll do:

Area 1 – Planning, Strategy, & Practice Development:

  • Develop and execute a quality and actionable business plan
  • Quarterly business plan review

  • Develop compelling industry specific content in support of the five key job areas


Area 2 – Drive Awareness & Incremental Demand:

  • Create and nurture industry customers and communities
  • Get doors open. Create / qualify new pipeline opportunities
  • Provide Industry advisory for account planning

Area 3 – Mature Industry Opportunities in Pipeline:

  • Accelerate pipeline opportunity conversion to qualified customer engagements
  • Develop industry specific account strategies
  • Conduct executive first meetings to differentiate SAP based on industry relative to the customer’s objectives

Area 4 – Support Deal Execution:

  • Differentiate SAP by industry throughout the sales cycle to increase win rates and grow deal sizes
  • Help shape the engagement by advising the sales teams to ensure the right industry message is delivered in deliverables like RFP responses, business cases, product demos, industry solution architecture, etc.
  • Lead customer executive conversations

Area 5 – Support Customer Success Realization:

What you bring:

  • 9-12+ years professional experience
  • Expertise in Discrete manufacturing industries
  • Customer facing experience and fluency in English, with knowledge of other languages as an asset

What you'll do:

As the Digital Solution Deal Advisor, you will be the go-to person for solution or product strategy within the sales team for opportunities in our sales segment. You will leverage your deep expertise in specific solutions to support the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to post-sale customer support. Additionally, you will assist customers in expanding their current SAP footprint to maximize value for their organization.

They will work closely with sales and other relate teams to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions that align with company offerings. They will ensure they leverage digital and other assets to drive scalability across the team.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent degree from accredited university preferred

  • Proven track record of success in presales or a similar customer-facing role within the technology industry.

  • This includes a minimum of 7 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.

  • Familiarity with our product suite and the broader industry landscape is essential. The candidate should demonstrate a deep understanding of crafting and delivering compelling product demonstrations, handling technical objections, and collaborating effectively with sales and technical teams.

  • Experience in complex sales cycles, fostering innovation in presales methodologies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives is highly desired. Prior exposure to conducting workshops, webinars, and training sessions would be advantageous
