What you bring!

• Expertise in Java/JEE web application development, database programming, preferably Oracle – Complex SQL, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Query tuning, Execution plans, Indexes etc, is mandatory. Knowledge of SAP HANA Database is added plus.
• Expertise in Spring 3.0+, REST, Odata, Unit Testing and development using TDD/BDD methodologies.
• Proficiency in OOAD, Design Patterns and anti-patterns .
• Knowledge of in Cloud, multi-tenancy, Splunk .

Expectations and Tasks:

Analyze and solve issues in existing and new code. Demonstrate full responsibility for accepted tasks and a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. If acting as Scrum Master in the LEAN context, responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. Serves as 'servant-leader' for the Product Owner and the Development Team. Facilitates Scrum Events on request or as required. Coaches the Development Team in self-organization. Removes impediments to the Development Team's progress.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must involve two (2) years in the following:

• Develop cross application integration framework;
• Develop REST API;
• Develop core application security frameworks;
• Automated testing using Mockito, Mocha, and PIT mutation;
• Python and common frameworks including PySpark;
• Dataframe API, Data analysis, and data extraction and transformation;
• Databricks Development, SQL for Data Analysis, Administration, Compute Management, and APIs;
• Design and develop large scale data intensive applications;
• Azure, GCP, or AWS; and
• CI/CD Automation.
