Role and Responsibilities

• Aggregate large data sets from subsidiaries across Southeast Asia to create sales & profit, overhead reports etc.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse profitability, identify cost drivers and explain variances from rolling forecasts, management plan and past years
• Extract insight from reports, generate commentaries and create PowerPoint Presentations for Management reporting
• Actively liaise with subsidiary teams and regional product managers to uncover P&L variances
• Develop and support new processes or improve existing processes relating to financial planning and reporting
• Prepare, present, and lead presentations needed to C suite, executives and external meetings as required.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the company’s reputation and safeguarding the group by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy.

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting / Business Administration
• Fluent in Korean (Speaking/Writing) and English (Business proficiency in Korean language is required, in order to communicate with Korea HQ and Korean counterparts)
• 7~10+ years of managerial experience
• Strong MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Good communication skills to engage stakeholders and present results to management

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct compensation and benefits (C&B) analysis, interpret data and assess internal and external equity for Singapore and at SEAO level.
• Evaluate current C&B programs and processes and recommend optimization.
• Manage Annual Performance Evaluation and Promotion Review Process
• Administer compensation programs and initiatives, including annual rewards cycle and all C&B related programs.
• Prepare salary package proposal for employees and review of package for rest of SEAO Countries as needed.
• Support the design and delivery of compensation and benefits programs.
• Participate in survey and support in pay band development.
• Perform other duties and contribute to rewards projects as needed.
• Manage C&B related HRIS (Workday) modules.
• Communicating with third-party services to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues.
• Collaborate closely with HR team in SEAO on all rewards matters.

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in any related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of experience in compensation and benefit preferable at regional level.
• Good understanding and knowledge on compensation and benefits practice, regulations and compliance requirements and market trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate compensation-related information to HR, management, and employees.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products and working knowledge of Workday and Mercer data.

Market Sensing & Competitive Analysis:

• Market Sizing: Lead efforts to generate accurate market sizing models, identifying growth opportunities across different geographic regions and product segments.

• Competitor Analysis: Analyse competitor product ranges, pricing strategies, distribution channels, and marketing tactics to uncover competitive advantages and gaps.

• Consumer Macro Trends: Identify Macro Trends

• Industry Tracking: Track emerging industry shifts, technological innovations, and new entrants to predict future market dynamics.

Consumer Research & Market Insights:

• Consumer Research: Design, conduct and oversee thorough primary and secondary research, with the goal of developing opportunities that feed into recommendations and new ideas

  for project stakeholders.

• Regional Fieldwork Experience: Experience in conducting field research AND managing fieldwork with various countries in the region is required to support in regional (Southeast Asia & Oceania) user and lifestyle research, in line with global strategy and local context.
• Quantitative and Qualitative Research Knowledge: Able to leverage different qualitative and quantitative methodologies to uncover key insights, to inspire and inform product innovation across Samsung's portfolio.
• Research Design: Design, lead and oversee the full research cycle for both exploratory and evaluative research across the various innovation projects; including but not limited to alignment on research objectives, discussion guide building, in-person moderation in English-speaking markets, synthesis and consolidation of final report.
• Qualitative Research Moderation: Competent moderator in different settings, from in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, usability testing, ethnographic / contextual inquiries. Moderation in English is required and in a second language preferable.
• Champion for Consumer Focus: Be a champion for insights and consumer focus within the research process and organization, working with cross-functional team members both internally and externally in a collaborative way.
• Insights Workshopping: The researcher is required to lead and support in research-to-idea workshops, preparing and scaffolding insights and workshop materials to bring stakeholders and participants through the workshop process.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent; major in Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Behavioural Science, Economics, Statistics, Applied Design or related human-centred field is preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in consulting or consumer research, experience in a multinational or global business environment is a plus.
• Proven expertise in market sensing, competitive analysis, and identifying consumer macro trends.
• Strong experience in generating market size forecasts and analysing competitor portfolios.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience across wide range of research methods including ethnography, in-depth interviews, surveys, usability testing, A/B testing.
• Preference for qualitative specialist with actual fieldwork and moderation experience in the region, with understanding of how quantitative research can fill in the gaps.
• Experienced in full research lifecycle, with ability to scope, design, and adapt research approaches.
• Ability to analyse, prioritize and communicate market and user-research insights into compelling stories that support concept explorations, directions and presentation.
• Work collaboratively and manage stakeholders at various levels in different locations to discuss, influence and align on project scope and required outcome.
• Ad hoc travel (typically Korea and within Southeast Asia & Oceania) may be expected when required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review and analyze the performance and trends of Samsung and key competitors across countries and channels, to identify business risks and opportunities
• Manage and grow existing global and regional sales enablement platforms, including Trade-In, Samsung Finance+, subscription models, and EIP / BNPL / affordability programs
• Manage the deployment of any new strategic sales programs in SEAO, coordinating across HQ / RHQ / Country teams to ensure effective execution
• Work with regional and subsidiary teams to develop and deploy short and mid-term strategies for sales channels across the region, for example:

• Expanding distribution coverage and sales in rural areas & independent retail channels
• Driving acceleration of Samsung branded channels with differentiated offers & value-added services
• Growing share with telcos through establishing new consumer programs

• Understanding of sales channels for mobile / consumer electronics (both online and offline), retail operations, promotion planning and management
• Experience with market and competitor analysis, and competitive strategy development

1. Security Auditing for Subsidiaries in Southeast Asia & Oceania Region

• Conduct both on-site and remote security audits.
• Plan audits for subsidiaries, adjusting schedules as needed to accommodate changing circumstances.
• Track and manage the progress of mitigation actions for audit findings.
• Implement measures to minimize security risks identified during audits.

CSIRT(Computer Security Incident Response Team).

• Follow the process for security event/alert tickets issued by the Global Security Monitoring Center.
• Take prompt and appropriate actions in response to security incidents, adhering to established processes and managerial guidance.

3. Supporting the SEAO Regional Security Team

• Assist in the operations of regional security policies.
• Provide guidance and support to subsidiaries as needed.
• Manage the implementation and maintenance of company security solutions.
• Address requests from headquarters (HQ) and other stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Computer Science (Cybersecurity Major would be a plus)
• At least 5 years of experience in IT or Security Auditing / Consulting-related roles
• Experience in IT System Management/ Operations/ Documenting and data handling
• Functional expertise and knowledge in Network, Server, Cloud management and enterprise systems

· Prepare regular reports for management on SCM KPIs, operational issues (e.g., supply shortages, aging inventory, low forecast accuracy), and the progress of ongoing SCM initiatives
