Description:

As a Junior Finance Controller, you will primarily lead and control the execution of an efficient and effective profitability analysis.


Your main responsibilities will include:

Managerial Accounting

  • Prepare and execute sales and profit plans for the current month/following three months/next year in accordance with HQ global schedules/policies;
  • Perform monthly closing in Controlling side incl. preparing preliminary/final sales, creating cost drivers, inventory valuations and executing allocations;
  • Prepare profit & loss statements of plans and actuals for internal reporting;
  • Analyze margin fluctuations in terms of plan vs actuals and previous plan vs current plan;
  • Check and detect abnormal billings to ensure sales and CGS occur with no errors;
  • Perform and support APA (Advance Pricing Arrangement) settlements with HQ/Sales/production subs.;
  • Conduct verification for departmental results of bi-annual KPIs

Budgeting

  • Execute and supervise periodical budget usages in order to ensure that each stakeholder spends in line with the company policy;
  • Conduct invoice settlements to make sure vendor payments are on the basis of pre-approvals;
  • Prepare timely and informative overhead expense analysis;

Others

  • Prepare accurate regular reports such as monthly management report, inventory status, weekly sales progress and risk sensing in a timely manner;
  • Conduct finance related (ad-hoc) projects in order to constantly improve systems and procedures;
  • Detail-oriented and proactive with results-driven mindsets;
  • Excellent communication skills that can work cross-functional teams;
  • Strong team player who can collaborate with positive attitude;
  • Mid-to-advanced levels in Excel and other financial modelling tools are a plus;
  • Proficiency in both Korean and English

Logistics Cost Control

You will act as contact person for assigned subsidiaries in order to answer any questions or issues regarding logistics cost booking.

Your strong excel and analytical skills will be required to analyze
Logistics data (Logistics cost, logistics cost ratio trends, Actual vs. Accrual), for assigned

You have to maintenance all logistics cost booking and accrual overview.
Archive all carriers’ tariff approval information, and warehouse suppliers’ rate overview.
Archive all NERP rate table, agreement tables.

Maintenance accrual vs actual cost process.

Data management and reporting

In this role you will perform Logistics Cost Control activities like tariff master data management,
subsidiaries in order to manage all European Logistics Costs centrally and achieve cost-benefits.


Month end is a busy time as you will need to finalize Logistics Cost Control activities for assignedsubsidiaries in order to meet the closing deadlines.
