Your Impact

  • Lead and orchestrate the entire sophisticated sales-cycle, addressing C-level executives the value of our deeply integrated platform and its related business impact

  • You will build, share, own, and implement a territory plan with an extended team to deliver maximum revenue potential in line with a proven value proposition for our customers

  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement, whilst crafting excellent customer satisfaction through relationship building

  • Promote the Salesforce vision through product demonstrations, in-market events, and account specific initiatives


Required Skills

  • Proven record new business solution selling and consulting experience

  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills highlighting the compelling business impact

  • Ability to map out and strategically define territory and account plans

  • Efficiently manage internal and external networks

  • Evidence of relationship building skills within a matrix organisation with an ability to grow and cultivate relationships

  • Excellent at building credible and value driven C-level relationships

  • Ability to accurately translate, forecast, and control identified business opportunities

  • Exhibits characteristics of quick-learning, self-starting, risk taking, and an aim to succeed

  • Must be proficient in both German & English

  • French and/or Swiss German speaking is a strong plus

  • Strong network and experience in the Swiss RCG mid-market industry highly preferred

  • Ability to negotiate complex deals

  • Degree or equivalent validated experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience etc.)

    Our Enterprise Account Executives engage with existing customers and new leads to position and sell the entire Salesforce Customer 360 platform. They build positive, trusted relationships with both crucial team members and c-suite decision makers within their patch, and become natural at helping customers realize value from their Salesforce investments.
    You will use your skills to develop opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting.

    Responsibilities:

    * Run territory identification and research, formalize the go-to-market strategy for the territory and build a qualified target account list within 30 days.
    * Develop & keep up to date and relevant the Account Plans
    * Understand, customize & make relevant and deliver our Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers
    * Develop key customer partner relationships and drive customer happiness at the assigned accounts
    * Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the accounts, aligned with customers’ business objectives
    * Own the end-to-end sales process through the engagement of appropriate resources such as Sales Engineers, BVS, Professional Services, Executives, Partners, Marketing, etc.
    * Drive steady and predictable pipeline & sales growth within the assigned territory, consistently across the year
    * Maintain a sharp and updated record of your pipeline and sales activities
    * Forecast your business with accuracy

    Required Qualifications & skills:

    * Strong background of value/consultative selling sophisticated solutions or technology (5 to 10 years preferably in Software or in Business Applications) and Deal Execution
    * Experience at selling to different C-level personas in Business & IT functions
    * Shown & proven record of successful collaboration in cross-functional and extended teams
    * Deep understanding of business & technology requirements of enterprise customers in the Manufacturing industry
    * Ability to work as part of a team to tackle problems in dynamic, energising environments
    * Strong analytical, problem structuring & problem solving skills
    * Validated communication skills (verbal, written, presentations)
    * Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the strengths for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles)
    * Proficiency in English and in German is required. French / Italian are a plus


    Preferred Qualifications & skills:

    * Knowledge of Sales Methodology
    * Commercial negotiations
    * Experience in dealing with Large Accounts
    * Knowledge & network in the Swiss manufacturing industry space
    * Passion around Artificial Intelligence
    * Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
    * Track record of consistently achieving or surpassing quota

You will report to the Senior Director, Consumption Value Delivery. As a strategic growth-focused Consumption Value Manager, Senior Manager or Director, you will have an influential role in a diverse, international team at the heart of the next phase of MuleSoft growth. Account Growth

  • Ensure your customers realise the full value of their MuleSoft investment by driving accelerated adoption of their use cases and clear articulation of the business value

  • Proactively identify and propose new ways you believe customers can get additional value from MuleSoft with new use cases across their lines of business

  • Prioritise time and focus across your accounts through effective territory planning

  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive commercial expansion

  • Directly incentivised on consumption growth and incremental annual contract value (ACV)

Executive Presence

  • Leverage Salesforce executive relationships for insight and influence

  • Develop C-level relationships by focusing on your relevance to them

  • Influence decision-making by creating and presenting compelling cases for change to C-level customer executives

Technical Proficiency

  • Understand customer IT landscapes and business needs, using critical thinking to build cases for change

  • Lead product demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects to showcase how MuleSoft can solve new business problems

Partner management

  • Actively seek out and build relationships with a variety of partners to see the whole picture, build consensus and triangulate support for change and expanded consumption at all levels of the organisation

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, professional services, technical architects, customer success, executives) and external partners to accelerate MuleSoft's impact

Minimum requirements

  • Significant customer-facing experience in a solutions sales or consulting role

  • Experience driving sales & expansion strategies with enterprise customers including a deep understanding of utilisation

  • Conversant in business language and knowledgeable about technology and data

  • Ability to build relationships with a wide range of customers, including IT and lines of business

  • Desire to become hands-on with the product in order to show not tell

  • Passionate about MuleSoft solutions, customer outcomes and inspiring a team

Preferred requirements

  • Familiarity with consumption models, plays and the go-to market alignment
