MuleSoft is looking for aPrincipal Client SE to join our talented and collaborative Solutions Engineering team in India. As a technology leader, you will be instrumental to MuleSoft’s growth in India, working with customers in FINS and Enterprise segments
You will partner closely with Account Executives and cross-functional teams throughout the sales cycle to qualify sales opportunities with regards to customer technical requirements, competition, decision-making process and funding. You will drive the account level strategy and augment the cross-functional teams who run the tactical aspects of the sales cycle (demo, PoC, RFX, Customer Success, etc).
Act as a trusted advisor to our strategic customers.
Help customers understand the business value of APIs, how to take advantage of the API Economy, and how APIs are a critical enabler of business agility.
Evangelize MuleSoft approach and technology with senior C-level executives and drive digital transformation
Conduct technical architecture workshops: API Strategy, Domain-Driven Design, Microservices.
Articulate MuleSoft's product strategy, roadmap and vision during executive briefings.
Assist marketing team with building a point of view and our product team with strategic direction as needed.
Role reports into India SE leader.
Requirements for the role:
15+ yrs total experience as a customer-facing technologist.
Pre-Sales enterprise software experience, skillset to establish trust with clients, and ability to influence key decision-makers in the sales cycle
Hands-on experience with middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, SOA, iPaas, BPM. Mulesoft certification is a plus.
Strong architecture skills and Ability to lead architectural discussions.
Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills
Strategic thought process. Ability to empathize, educate, and lead with provocative points of view
High Business acumen to help contextualize technology investment with overall digital strategy
Experience evangelizing to CIOs/CTOs/Enterprise Architects
The breadth of technology domain expertise and familiarity with the latest technology trends
When travel resumes, ability to travel to customer locations. (25%-30%)

You will be responsible for driving strategic, enterprise-wide sales initiatives into a territory consisting of calling on the largest companies in India. Your accounts will be a blend of clients with additional revenue opportunities and prospects. Responsibilities:
To exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by selling Salesforce solutions into enterprise accounts and within an assigned geographical or vertical market. You will handle the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.
Territory identification and research, to formalize a go-to-market territory strategy and create a qualified target account list within 30 days.
Pipeline development through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns, and market sectorknowledge/resourcefulness.
Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement within the designated market sector(s).
Engage with prospect organizations to position Salesforce solutions through strategic value-based selling, business-case definition, value analysis, references, and analyst data.
Lead the end-to-end sales process through the engagement of appropriate resources such as Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, Partners, etc.
Generate short-term results whilst maintaining a long-term perspective to increase overall revenue generation.
Daily update of the Salesforce system with accurate customer and pipeline data.

Required Skills:

A minimum of 5+ yrs of relevant experience in the IT Industry, either pre-sales or implementation of customer engagement solutions, supporting the sales cycle in selling CRM or high value business solutions.
Relevant Industry Experience into Retail & Consumer Good
Strong focus and experience in pre-sales or implementation is required.
Experience in demonstrating Customer engagement solution, understand and drive use cases, customer journeys, ability to draw ‘Day in life of’ across different LOBs.
Business Analysis/ Business case/return on investment construction.
Experience in sophisticated solution selling to Enterprise customers
A broad understanding of and ability to articulate the benefits of Cloud Computing, SFA, Service & Support, Marketing and Mobile solutions.
Strong verbal and written communications skills with a focus on needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques.
Outstanding presentation and demonstration skills.
