Job Summary:

You will be part of a cohort of interns and have the opportunity to work on multiple projects within Global Engineering while also receiving learning and curriculum on different technologies. These projects and curriculum may include areas such as Ansible, RHEL, OpenShift, AI, and more. Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with your mentor to design, develop, and maintain code in Python, Golang or similar programming language

• Add new features, debug, identify, and track issues in Red Hat products (RHEL, OpenShift or other)

• Collaborate with the wider team members and other departments such as Quality Engineering, Designers, Product Management or Documentation team throughout the product cycle

Required Skills:

• Working knowledge of written and spoken English

What you will do

• Testing the performance and accuracy of LLMs for vLLM and llama.cpp inference on different accelerators.

• Making awesome test plans and cases to hit product requirements.

• Doing all sorts of testing: functional, performance, regression, you name it, to make sure the product is solid.

• Writing test code and frameworks to automate testing.

• Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting test results and failures.

• Sharing your knowledge and recommendations to help the team keep getting better.

• Keeping everyone in the loop about quality efforts.

• Giving good and quick code reviews.

What you will bring

• At least 3 years of software testing experience.

• Solid experience evaluating LLMs for performance on accelerators and accuracy (think HellaSwag, MMLU, Chatbot Arena, TruthfulQA, etc.).

• Being super comfortable with Python and PyTest is a must.

• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or GitLab.

• Strong experience with API and performance testing, especially for C++ and Python.

• You should be a pro with Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes or Openshift.

• Highly experienced in setting up CI/CD processes like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

• Understanding of core Machine Learning algorithms and basics

Bonus points if you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science, math, or a related field is cool, but practical experience and technical skills are what really matter.

• Knowing how to excel in Open Source communities.

• Understanding how application build pipelines work (like how code becomes binaries or Python wheels).

• A track record of contributing to the vLLM community is ahugeplus!

The salary range for this position is $133,650.00 - $220,680.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

What You Will Do

• Cover a territory consisting of large enterprise and commercial accounts

• Sell Red Hat's services and solutions using the business requirements of your customers to create unique technical offerings

• Grow your territory and pipeline through the development of internal business partnerships with the field sales team and alliance and partner programs

• Accurately and consistently provide revenue and booking forecasts for your territory; know your book of business day to day and be able to communicate that book of business both with account sales teams and services teams

• Manage booking goals across all practices; meet revenue and margin use targets

• Ensure successful delivery of all projects in partnership with the delivery team towards ongoing sales opportunities

Within 12 months, you will be expected to do the following:

The salary range for this position is $216,990.00 - $358,000.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

What will you do:

• Take responsibility for Virtualization testing of virtual Trusted Platform Module (vTPM) devices, debug and supervise the results in a timely manner, as well as provide complete and accurate test status reports to all stakeholders

• Research and implement new APIs and features to be automated, develop new automated and manual cases as well as create and review test plans

• Maintain awareness of development engineering activities within the upstream vTPM communities ensuring the testability of the environments for Linux host, Linux guest, and Windows guest

• Collaborate and contribute to upstream TPM testing communities such as ibmtss and linux-vtpm-tests

• Develop and maintain automation testing framework in Python and write and review patches on GitHub

• Develop and maintain CI and CD tools

• Recognize the product quality risks by analyzing and prioritizing then identify tests required to mitigate them

• Focus on delivering customer value by analyzing feedback and enhancing test coverage

• Continuously improve testing, docs, processes, and tools

What will you bring:

• 4+ years working experience in software testing or development for Linux systems

• Active scripting and solid programming skills using Python for 2 years+; knowledgeable of standard and commonly used libraries and frameworks and best practices in coding

• Meaningful work experience in virtualization (KVM, QEMU, libvirt, cloud or container and similar) is a plus

• Relevant security (OpenSSL/SELinux) and cryptography skills, with practical experience desirable

• Past experience in working with Open-Source communities and/or global teams is desirable

• Required Full English proficiency (verbal and written)

What you will do:

• Executes and documents technical engagements, as defined by the customer’s Success Plan initiatives, that advance the adoption and growth in consumption of Red Hat products

• Conducts reviews of the customer's environment and applications to ensure they are well-architected following Red Hat product best practices

• Identifies and aggregates technical adoption blockers discovered across multiple customers and their solutions into common patterns and sales play resources

• Be the Voice of the Customer. Share insights and best practices and connect with product leaders to remove technical barriers to adoption

The salary range for this position is $129,800.00 - $207,730.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

• Win the confidence of our customers through the successful delivery of discovery, analysis and design workshops that shape and influence the customer’s architecture design decisions to align with the Red Hat solution.
