  • The Red Hat Telco Center of Excellence (CoE) team is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform technical sales supporting the Account Executive and the extended sales team in our current US based large Telco accounts. The candidate will need to have the ability to understand customer needs and challenges and link them to a set of Red Hat Ansible Automation offerings. This is a senior level sales position.

What You Will Do:

  • Your tasks will include identifying and creating sales opportunities for existing customer accounts through well-planned demand generation efforts such as Sales Plays, Hackathons, Workshops and specific Marketing events. Approximately 50% travel is required for this position.

  • Work with the Telco sales teams to plan the overall automation and multi-cloud strategy within a defined set of accounts.

  • Gain the trust of senior IT and business executives within key accounts and create long-term partnerships.

  • Ability to lead a consultative sales cycle, based on solution selling, which includes the whole of Red Hat's portfolio rather than specific offerings
