Job Summary

You’ll help accelerate the development of AI prototypes by ensuring seamless platform integration, CI/CD pipelines, and other critical infrastructure to enable high-speed experimentation and iteration.

What you’ll do

• Platform Support and Optimization: Design and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient platforms to support AI Catalyst team initiatives, ensuring smooth integration of AI models and workflows.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and scalable deployments.

• Mentor senior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence, velocity, and pragmatic decision-making

• Proactively utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) for code generation, auto-completion, and intelligent suggestions to accelerate development cycles and enhance code quality.

• Explore and experiment with emerging AI technologies relevant to software development, proactively identifying opportunities to incorporate new AI capabilities into existing workflows and tooling.

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years of software engineering experience

Job Summary

Red Hat Software Engineering is looking for a Principal Software Quality Engineer to join our Secure Supply Chain organization (Remote). In this role, you will help test and verify offerings on top of Red Hat OpenShift. Using your expertise and principles of software engineering, automation and continuous improvement, you will help create a product where availability, reliability, and security are treated through the entire application life cycle, not treated as an afterthought. As a Principal software Quality Engineer, you will write and enhance test suite to ship product and also develop tools to automate software deployments, upgrades, scaling, monitoring, alerting, and testing. In this role, you will lead the release testing efforts and guide team members in their testing and CI related tasks. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.

• Oversee the installation of Red Hat Individual Exam systems and Train and coach examiners

• Review the exam results and respond to the candidate via ServiceNow and Deal hotline call escalation

• Work with Red Hat Exam Site for the smooth running of Red Hat exams on Red Hat exam systems

• Provide L2 or L3 Support for Red Hat Certification Exams

• Troubleshoot exam setup failures and ensure the exam is delivered on time.

• Resolve/Verify the exam issues that are reported by the candidate for Live exams.

• Create the investigation report for the troubleshooted exam sessions

• Handle the exam quality assurance (QA) and conduct pilot exams

• Report the exam issues to the Exam Development team

• Work with IT team or developers for application enhancement - Grade and process Red Hat Exams
