What You Will Do:

  • Own the development of new strategic sales opportunities.

  • Lead critical customer presentations/sessions around business problems, Red Hat solutions, business value, competitive positioning and product capabilities and roadmaps.

  • Maintain relevant and detailed knowledge about products in your domain (features, updates, success stories, etc.) and general knowledge of the RH portfolio.

  • Maintain knowledge and enables account teams on current "Plays" in your domain (ISVs, use cases, solution blueprints, Red Hat Sales Plays, etc.).

  • Advise on and speaks to forecasts for appropriate products, services and training.

  • Guide strategy based on deep knowledge of industry or speciality.

  • Position right-sized solutions (subs, services, partners) in the context of addressing the customer’s challenges or problems in their environment.

  • Drive growth beyond initial sales and deployment to scale and expand to other relevant products.

  • Coordinate with Customer Success on the delivery of the proposed business value/solution.

What You Will Bring:

  • Entrepreneurial and motivated to run your own business within the role.

  • Highly effective orchestrator and collaborator, able to lead a cross-functional team (internal and partner ecosystem) through a complex sales cycle.

  • Compelling presenter of business and technical topics, capable of delivering demos for your domain.

  • C-Suite presence: charismatic, outgoing and able to “own the room” to connect individually.

  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following: territory, vertical, account selling.

  • Ability to own workload conversations (RH + ISV) around key sales plays and use cases (Modernization, New App Dev, Data Science/AI/SW Factory/etc).

  • 5+ years sales or delivery experience for an enterprise software, SaaS, cloud provider, or consulting company.

  • Understanding of the business value and technical solutions sellers; ability to translate customer business and transformation objectives into the value delivered by technology solutions.

  • Experience with cloud provider services (AWS, Azure, and Google), Cloud Consumption models and how ecosystem offerings such as the Red Hat portfolio integrate with the same.

  • Holds or has ability to acquire, in the first 90 days of employment, one cloud provider certification.

  • Understanding of Red Hat’s software portfolio and competitive offerings.

  • Excellent communication skill in English is mandatory, fluency in German is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel regularly across the region.

  • Lead customer presentations/sessions around business outcomes, Red Hat solutions, business value, competitive positioning and solution capabilities and product roadmaps.

  • Maintain relevant and detailed knowledge, including key differentiators, of the products in your domain (features, updates, success stories, etc.) as well as a broader knowledge of the overall Red Hat portfolio.

  • Maintain knowledge and enable account teams on current sales tactics in your domain (ISVs, use cases, solution blueprints, Red Hat Sales Plays, etc.).

  • Position right sized solutions (subs, services, partners) in the context of addressing the customer’s challenges or problems in their environment.

  • Advise on and speak to opportunity forecasts.

  • Identify new opportunities and drive further adoption and expansion at existing customers to scale to other relevant use cases and products.

  • Coordinate with Customer Success, Solution Architects, and other roles on the delivery of the proposed business value/solution.

What you will bring:

  • Relevant consultative technical selling experience in one or more of the following: territory, vertical, account selling.

  • Highly effective orchestrator and collaborator, able to lead a cross-functional team (internal and partner ecosystem) through a complex sales cycle.

  • Persuasive and compelling presenter of business and technical topics - capable of delivering demos for your domain is a plus.

  • Some experience in automation use cases across data center and cloud computing (For example understanding of some of the following: Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps, DevSecOps, AIOps, MLOps, security, network, compliance etc.).

  • Familiar with return on investment (RoI) and business-value arguments, preferably around high-degree automation and autonomous operations and how these will result in better customer outcomes.

  • Experience of the MEDDPICC or similar sales framework

  • Fluency in German and English mandatory.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with technology offerings and economics of cloud computing.

  • Passion and curiosity about technology, the market, and its future demonstrated by what you read, follow, subscribe to, listen to, etc.

  • Knowledge of the principles and processes of open source technology.

  • Strong technology foundation with ability to translate business value. You may have experience in one of the following or a similar role: a business-focused Solution Architect or pre-sales engineer, Tech Leader, Product Manager, Big 6 Consultant, App Dev delivery, or a start-up Account Executive).

EMEA Senior Specialist Solution Architect - AI

You’ll be joining a partner ecosystem team that includes sales specialists, solution architects, and partner managers, all working with you to ensure positive partner experiences. You’ll be able to collaborate with a global community of AI specialists, including other SSAs, the AI business unit and Engineering, to test, document, and effectively demonstrate new features, share learning and best practices and provide feedback based on your real-world field experiences.

What you will do:

  • Work with the partner Solution Architect, account manager and sales specialist to identify challenges and blockers to drive Red Hat AI within new and existing partners

  • Plan, design, and implement AI systems with partners; applying the ability to architect and build data pipelines, ML pipelines, and ML training and serving approaches leveraging additional support and resources from Red Hat as required

  • Drive adoption of Red Hat AI platforms by assisting ecosystem solution architects, supporting partner-led customer opportunities and partner development initiatives, with technical deep dives, proofs of concept, “bake-offs”, internal sprints, hackathons, and development of partner vertical-specific AI solutions.

  • Identify partner AI stakeholders, acting as a technical advocate within both their line-of-business and internal teams

  • Work closely with the AI business unit and engineering teams, providing a market feedback loop on the product and solutions

  • Engage in community outreach and partner advocacy activities including conference speaking, blog posts, and other public contributions.

What you will bring:

  • SME with 4+ years of hands-on experience in one of the following areas:

  • Machine Learning Use Case Development, including:

  • building AI applications (e.g., deep learning, LLM/RAG, NLP, computer vision, or pattern recognition).

  • Practical experience with a statistical programming language (e.g., Python), applied machine learning techniques, and using OSS frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

  • Machine Learning Operations design, including:

  • Previous successful experience in AI systems design, with the ability to architect and explain data pipelines, ML pipelines, and ML training and serving approaches.

  • Experience with CI/CD solutions in the context of MLOps and LLMOps including automation with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions (e.g. Ansible).

  • Experience delivering technical presentations and leading business value sessions.

  • Executive presence with public speaking skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Computer Science or similar degree

  • Previous experience as a sales engineer, technical sales, or similar role preferably at an enterprise software company, a SaaS company, or Systems Integrator

  • Previous experience as an implementation consultant for AI solutions

  • Previous experience in Machine Learning Use Case Development and Operations experience

  • Industry vertical experience with Data Science projects. i.e. - expertise in FSI, medical, defence, and intelligence verticals

  • Community brand in volunteer tech communities like AI Users Group or open-source projects
