During your first year as a Cloud Services Intern, you will engage in a cohort-based program. Through this experience, you will:

  • Learn all about Red Hat and how we support our customers to address their technical developmental and strategic business challenges with our portfolio and services

  • Build a strong support network of your Peers, Manager, Mentor and other Red Hatters within and outside of your customer projects

  • Develop technical skills in the Red Hat Platform portfolio that span Cloud and Automation solutions, by completing training programs and attaining industry-recognized certifications

  • Apply your technical skills as you engage in meaningful customer projects, experiences and job shadowing opportunities

  • Enhance your professional capabilities through real-world experiences working directly with customers and participating in skill development opportunities

  • Focus on your personal and professional development as you grow your career at Red Hat

What you will bring

  • Passion and curiosity for open source technology and desire to build a career within the Tech industry

  • Strong technical skills in computer science, IT, AI, or related fields gained through university programs, upskilling bootcamps, certificate programs, military experience, etc.

  • Demonstrated experience applying technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills in an Enterprise IT-related project. Direct experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and related technologies is preferred.

  • Willingness to travel to customer sites for project work and to local Red Hat offices to engage other Red Hat associates

  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external customers

  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken Portuguese

  • Project manage multiple events concurrently, including coordinating agencies, vendors, budgets, timelines and demonstrating success metrics

  • Communicate effectively with key EMEA and global stakeholders, including finance, procurement and brand

  • Formulate follow-up and evaluation metrics for each project

  • Develop and implement event best practices and operating standards

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in event management and event marketing

  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven experience in event coordination and project management, preferably for large-scale corporate or technology events.

  • A team player with experience of working within complex or highly matrix organisation

  • Demonstrated ability to manage sponsor relationships, including contract administration and communication.

  • Strong logistical skills with experience in managing event components

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

  • Experience with event management software (e.g., Rainfocus) and CRM systems (e.g., SalesCloud) is a plus.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working successfully with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

  • A willingness to travel (as needed)

  • Remains calm under pressure

  • Collaborate with business development managers, solutions practices, the Partners and Alliances and Marketing teams, and other territory services managers on wider strategic initiatives and business development activities

What You Will Bring

  • Ability to create and articulate the value proposition; experience in consultative selling and professional services delivery

  • Experience & knowledge of the Saudi market & customers, familiarity with the Saudi vision 2030

  • Knowledge of Red Hat’s or competitive technologies that engage and build trust with customer stakeholders at different levels

  • Understanding of customer business impact as well as the internal impact of projects from a legal, financial, supportability, scalability, and repeatability points of view

  • Experience working in customer-facing roles like an architect or consultant or in a related presales or services role

  • Services selling experience including development of statements of work (SoWs), requests for information (RFIs), and requests for proposal (RFPs), pricing, large-scale proposal development, and customer journeys

  • Experience leading and working in virtual and cross-functional teams

  • Proven record of closing complex solutions-led deals worth millions of dollars

  • Good understanding of and real experience designing, selling, and implementing enterprise architectures, including hybrid cloud solutions

  • Willingness to participate in regular business travel for customer and internal meetings
