Are you a tech-savvy problem solver? Philips is looking for a Metrology Technician to join their tech industry team. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves to get their hands-on quality equipment and make sure it is maintained and functioning correctly.
As a Metrology Technician, you will have the chance to work across multiple Philips sites, applying your skills in a collaborative team environment. You will be responsible for evaluating test equipment per specifications, setting up configurations of complex hardware for testing, performing tests, and compiling reports. Additionally, you will be required to set-up and install test equipment, repair and maintain test equipment, and calibrate complicated test and measurement instruments.
You should be comfortable working with advanced instrumentation, including knowledge of calibration processes, ISO 17025 and ISO 9002 standards, and related computer setup and diagnostic software. You need to be able to troubleshoot problems independently and develop creative solutions. Additionally, you should be organized, have excellent communication skills, and a strong interest in technology.
