Internship temperature calibration ofgradient limit interface(GLI)

Your role:

Develop a method, plus the tool(s) to calibrate the GLI, to switch at the correct temperatures. This involves a.o. electronics and a heat source.

  • Written instruction of the procedure

  • A practical set up to execute the calibration procedure.

  • New insights, or new automation ideas, are very welcome.

  • Presentation to the 7T team

  • What is not desired, is a redesign of the GLI, because it is already installed at our customers, and part of the 7T system design.


1. You are studying towards your Bachelor or Master in Physics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related study;

2. You are able to work on your own, self starter;

3. You have experience with Phyton and or Ruby;

4. It would be a nice to have when you already gained experience with setting up test systems.

In return, we offer you

Next to that, we are offering a decent internship package:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.

  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.

  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net.

  • Paid holidays per internship term.

  • The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop.

In this role you are responsible for managing a dedicated departmental support process which has an indirect impact on Philips’ med-tech products (e.g. audit processes within Finance).

  • conducting research on relevant topics;

  • analyzing data to identify significant trends;

  • providing actionable recommendations for strategic direction;

  • participating in team meetings, offering innovative ideas and capturing detailed minutes;

  • preparing and presenting accurate reports for stakeholders;

  • organizing and maintaining departmental documentation, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance, and stays updated on industry trends and best practices.


1.You are studying towards your Bachelor or Master in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related study.

2. You have strong analytical skills and have experience with Excel and PowerPoint.

3. You are able to work independently but also in a team.

4. You are curious and open to learn.

Project Duration:6 months

In parametric stereo coding, a stereo audio signal is downmixed to a mono signal, and stereo parameters are estimated and transmitted to the decoder. At the decoder, the stereo signal is reconstructed using the mono downmix and the transmitted stereo parameters. While performance has been promising, further improvements and evaluations are necessary.

Key Tasks and Deliverables:

  • Literature Review and Familiarization
  • System Performance Verification
  • Quantizer Integration and Evaluation
  • Latent variable size analysis
  • Exploration of Alternate Architectures
  • Final Report and Presentation

Required Skills:

  • Master’s student in the field of Electrical Engineering\ Computer Engineering with good understanding and enthusiasm for learning about neural networks and deep learning frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (PyTorch, Torchaudio).
  • Familiarity with audio signal processing/coding concepts (e.g., down/up-mixing, quantization).
  • Analytical skills to evaluate different neural network architectures.

Supervision and Support:The student will have access to the necessary computational resources and audio datasets required for the project. Regular meetings will be held to discuss progress, address challenges, and refine approaches.

The student’s performance will be assessed based on regular progress reports, the final report, the quality of the proposed solutions, and the effectiveness of the implemented modifications.


Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Your role:

  • Conduct research on reporting standards, competitor performance and stakeholder trends related to circular operations.

  • Perform in-depth investigation and analysis of industrial and non-industrial site performance, challenges and opportunities. Using insights to develop best practices and business cases that cover the cross-section of sustainability, business, and operations.

  • Provide daily support to ongoing programs and activities

As a member of IGT Europe Sales organization, you will work with experienced international Healthcare Consultants on customer projects across Europe, supporting them in their transformation journey and the optimization of their patient pathways, workflows and operational performance.

Your role

  • Project management of consulting projects and providing support with consultancy services standardization.

  • Support in customer-related material, such as consultancy service proposals, presentations, tender descriptions, etc.

  • Being a key driver in the execution (delivery) of consultancy projects for IGT Europe. Activities ranging from data analytics (e.g. to optimize operational performance), project management activities and business operational requirements (e.g. staff/patient workflow optimization).
