As a member of IGT Europe Sales organization, you will work with experienced international Healthcare Consultants on customer projects across Europe, supporting them in their transformation journey and the optimization of their patient pathways, workflows and operational performance.
Your role
Project management of consulting projects and providing support with consultancy services standardization.
Support in customer-related material, such as consultancy service proposals, presentations, tender descriptions, etc.
Being a key driver in the execution (delivery) of consultancy projects for IGT Europe. Activities ranging from data analytics (e.g. to optimize operational performance), project management activities and business operational requirements (e.g. staff/patient workflow optimization).
Actively contribute to support IGT Europe Consulting internal and external communication, such as helping writing customer testimonials and Case studies of projects performed, and publishing them on the dedicated media.
You’re the right fit if:
A Bachelor/Master ’s in e.g. Healthcare, Business, Science or Engineering (with a scope of project management) – potentially with an international or healthcare focus
English proficiency is compulsory, additional languages could be beneficial for the role
Experience in project management, process improvement methodologies and/or data analytics would be an asset
Strong and open-minded team player who can work with various nationalities and cultures
Our intern remuneration package:
Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you perform a part-time internship, you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net
Paid holidays per internship term.

As a Senior Model-Based System Engineer (MBSE) at Philips, you will be responsible for applying and improving the MBSE approach in various projects for different Philips businesses. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality (sub) systems models of products by meeting user and business requirements, managing complexity, providing technical leadership, and stakeholder management. Additionally, you will contribute to improving Systems Engineering capability across Philips by defining methods and setting up Philips standards for MBSE, coaching, and training others.

You will be a part of the Model-Based Systems Engineering competence group within the Innovation Engineering central function, primarily located in the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. The MBSE group comprises of approx.15 highly skilled and motivated MBSE professionals working on different projects across all Philips businesses. These projects can cover every phase of the product life cycle, from development, manufacturing, market deployment, operation, and maintenance to phase-out. You will also help to deploy MBSE capability throughout the global company by creating and providing training and coaching and/or leading a team of system engineers.
In this role, from being on the front-end of Philips product development through MBSE deployment activities, you will be able to guide every aspect of MBSE and product development at Philips. Our external engagement with other companies will allow you to also build a strong network of same-minded professionals across High Tech industry.
You're the right fit if:
7+ years of experience in an R&D environment in a regulated environment (a medical device company is strongly preferred).
You are all-round System Engineer, an expert on Requirements Engineering, Risk Management and design.
You have strong experience in Model Based System Engineering with tools e.g. Cameo and their customization e.g. Structured Expressions, Scripting, Profiles, Custom Diagrams, Validation Rules philosophy and implementation, Plugin Development etc.
You have experience with SysML at least in Model User Level and with scripting as a plus.
You are familiar with Structure, Behavior, Requirements and Parametric Models implementation.
You are able to create MetaModel and DataModel definitions.
You have a M.Sc. degree in Software, System, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or in a similar field.
You are an excellent communicator who can operate on different levels of architectural details with a hands-on mentality.

Your role:
Contribute to the Philips next generation wireless footswitch for interventional X-ray systems by prototyping a reliable wireless link, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary engineering group.
Propose and prototype a wireless connection used in a medical environment for a battery-powered footswitch of an interventional X-ray system. This footswitch allows the physician to control the system from any position in the exam room. The improvement can include the selected wireless technology, the implementation of the selected technology (hardware and software), and/or redundancy.
Depending on the candidate and the type of internship, (stretched) targets may include full characterization of the link quality of the existing and proposed solution, co-existence with other systems and other EMI sources, improved logging capabilities for failures, and failure mode effect analysis.
Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary engineering team of the Electronic Systems & IoT department at Philips Innovation Engineering on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.
Apply your Electronics Engineering and Wireless Connectivity skills on a real product. Use your analytical, practical and experimentation skills to identify, realize and verify a solution, and use your documentation and communication skills to share results with the team and stakeholders.
