AI Solutions Architectto enable the adoption and acceleration of AI across Innovation Engineering (IEN). This high-impact role is central to our ambition to integrate AI deeply into our engineering workflows—across hardware, systems, software development, and platforms.
AI Solution Architect
As a key member of the, you play arole in the transformation of IEN. The AI Council operates as a federated network that identifies, prioritizes, and accelerates high-impact AI use cases across Philips Engineering. You will support engineering teams by identifying opportunities, designing solutions, and helping them bring AI-enabled prototypes to life.
This is a hands-on and strategic position, ideal for someone who combinesdeep technical expertise inwith a strong sense of business value and stakeholder influence.The application of AI in IEN is broad. Strategic Enablement
Drive adoption of(Gen)AI across Innovation Engineering by helping teams move from idea to impact

Translate business objectives into actionable AI architectures and MVPs

Select appropriate AI models (open source or commercial) and platforms.

Execution & Governance
Guide cross-functional teams during development, testing, and deployment phases
Ensure compliance with Philips security, privacy, and regulatory standards
Promote best practices for model evaluation, prompt engineering, and human-in-the-loop feedback
Contribute to sharedGenAIstandards and reference implementations to scale impact
Ensure seamless integration, deployment, and operationalization of AI/ML solutions.
You're the right fit if:
least 12years’ experience, with proven experience in AI/ML solution architectureand system engineering, ideally in an enterprise or regulated environment
Deep understanding of generative AI technologies (LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-based generation, agents)
Strong hands-on experience with cloud-based AI platforms and modernGenAItoolkitsand frameworks.
Familiarity with programming concepts and common AI/ML development languages (e.g., Python)
iencein classical computer vision (OpenCV, image preprocessing, object detection, etc.)would be nice to have.
Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences

Project Title:Deep learning-based enhancement of parametric stereo audio compression
Project Duration:6 months
In parametric stereo coding, a stereo audio signal is downmixed to a mono signal, and stereo parameters are estimated and transmitted to the decoder. At the decoder, the stereo signal is reconstructed using the mono downmix and the transmitted stereo parameters. While performance has been promising, further improvements and evaluations are necessary.

Supervision and Support:The student will have access to the necessary computational resources and audio datasets required for the project. Regular meetings will be held to discuss progress, address challenges, and refine approaches.
The student’s performance will be assessed based on regular progress reports, the final report, the quality of the proposed solutions, and the effectiveness of the implemented modifications.

Your role:
Champion collaboration between the business community and BPO’s for Export Control, tackling supply chain bottlenecks and ensuring seamless ERP process integration for GTS, while partnering with Business Analysts and Functional Consultants to ensure alignment.
Lead as the product owner for the project scrum team, ensuring processes are designed to requirements, delivered as envisioned, and documented in alignment with the Philips Process Framework.
Translate user requirements into a clear, prioritized user story backlog and drive transformation by clarifying the impact of new solutions and ways of working across IT, data, people, and processes.
Enable learning by delivering process training, building competencies, and preparing engaging end-user documentation.
Evaluate and refine process change proposals, escalating relevant ideas to BPOs, supporting local improvements, and sharing best practices with other BPEs.
