Your role
  • Being the clinical referent for CT within the territory of competence (mainlyNorth West of Italy)

  • Ensuring that customers are properly trained in applying the best possible clinical procedures and protocols to achieve optimal usage of the equipment delivered

  • Supporting the sales process by highlighting the clinical advantages of our technology, including pre-sales activities (E.g. demo customer visits)

  • Providing feedback from the customer/markets on our solution back to the Business Innovation Unit

  • Supporting new products launches and providing required applications report on completion of all application visits

You are the right fit if you have
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience in the Health Tech industry.

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of Computed Tomography

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical field

  • Willingness to travel is required (about 80-90% of the time)

  • Fluent in English in addition to Italian as native language.

The role will have a national scope, preferably based in Milan.

Category Management Expert

You will be part of the Personal Health IIG zone team and work closely with National Account Managers, Shopper Activation Managers, Consumer Marketing Managers, and customers.


Your role:

  • Define a clear category vision based on (shopper) insights & data. Based on this, you translate it per retailer and advise retail partners to achieve category growth and promote sell-out & market share growth for Philips.
  • Analyze market, shopper, and customer data (NIQ, GfK, etc.) to develop actionable customer plans from a vision.
  • Advise retailers on shelf layout, assortment optimization & planograms defined as per shopper decision tree and act as a strong, confident discussion partner.
    Analyze BTL activations for sell-out value, volume & ROI, and convert these into clear learnings & recommendations for National Account Managers & Activation team to optimize activities.
  • Lead the development of retail annual plans together with National Accounts Managers & Activation team, focusing on distribution and/or rotation growth.
  • Develop strong trade stories aligned with the category vision to support negotiations.
  • Work closely with Consumer Marketing team on story-to-trade for innovations, distribution needs & choices, acting as a sparring partner to strengthen marketing activations towards Retail. You provide Consumer Marketing team with relevant input to enable the right decisions on innovation, segmentation & activation.
  • Build category management capabilities, maintain a “Category First” mindset, and motivate others within shopper and key account management teams to adopt this thinking.

  • Bachelor's or Master Degree in Business Administration or Economics preferably
  • Solid experience in category management, sales or shopper marketing, with customer contact being essential.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to translate these into concrete plans.
  • Persuasiveness and strong communication skills to achieve internal and external goals.
  • Strong analytical skills, a passion for data analysis, and proficiency in Excel.

  • Strategic leadership in labor relations, including engaging with government bodies.
