Job Description

You will

Area of responsibility includes Pre & Post Sales Phases, within EMEA.

Your role:

  • Analyze and define data migration strategies by documenting customer requirements, assessing legacy systems, verifying target solutions, and conducting preliminary risk analyses to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Design and execute end-to-end migration processes , including developing migration channels, performing QA sample migrations, incorporating client feedback, and executing final data transfer while managing exceptions.
  • Develop detailed documentation and reports , ensuring transparency and traceability of the migration process, and provide support for team planning and continuous process improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support presales activities and deal approvals , providing technical expertise and guidance to align migration solutions with business objectives.

You’re a right fit if:

  • University Degree/Master Degree or equivalent in IT, technical field, or a related field
  • 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Database design,implementation/development,administration (Oracle DBA level a gold plus but not a mandatory requirement)
  • Development of simple integration components (Visual Studio, .Net, Java, J2EE, PL/SQL developer, C, C++, COM object based interfaces, Web interfaces, XML, Soap, etc.)
  • Medical Standards: DICOM and Health Level Seven (HL7), Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise

As a Technical Support Intern, you will embark on a dynamic learning journey with Philips IT Health Imaging products, contributing to international project delivery for the EMEA region. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around supporting the end-to-end delivery of monitoring/alerting solutions for Radiology Informatics and related infrastructure elements.

Your role:

  • You will collaborate with the Technical Services Team in the project delivery setting, assisting in installations and upgrades of Radiology Informatics solutions.

  • You will perform technical installations of radiology software, ensuring application readiness, completing installations, and handling technical configurations.

  • You will support end-to-end delivery of monitoring/alerting solutions for PACS(Picture Archiving and Communication System), RIS (Radiology Information System), VNA (Vendor Neutral Archiving),

  • You will troubleshoot system failures, document solutions, and ensure efficient service delivery.

  • You will classify, prioritize, and resolve issues to maintain solution uptime and data safety.

  • You will customize monitoring tools, produce technical reports, and support the Monitoring Platform roadmap.

Requirements:

1. You are a recent graduate of a Technical School (IT background preferred) or with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. You have a basic technical knowledge in software/hardware solutions, including Windows OS, servers, storage, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of networking, monitoring tools, databases, virtualization, and scripting languages would be a plus.

3. You have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. You have a proactive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.

4. You have excellent communication skills in Italian and English.

Educational background & Experience:

  • You have acquired 2-3 years of experience in Informatics, especially as systems administrator.
Technical & Soft Skills:
  • IT infrastructure components including Servers, Storage Appliances, Network Appliances, Security Appliances and the related technologies
  • Data Base (Oracle/SQL), Microsoft 2012/2016/2019 Server, Hyper-V technologies
  • IT related medical standards: e.g., DICOM , Health Level Seven ( HL7 ), and ( IHE ) Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (preferred)
