Manufacturing Engineer

Your role:

  • Quality Control and Improvement:

- Support MQ and SQE to conduct incoming failure parts analysis.

- Work with quality team to fulfil QMS requirement and support TUV, CFDA, and FDA audit.

  • Line Sustaining:

- Update WI and DHR according to ECR from designer or PPC.

- Daily NC analysis, find root cause and drive improvement.

- Support change controller to execute ECO in production on time and minimize the line interruption.

- Introduce new product / new process / new part in production.

  • LEAN and Cost Reduction:

- Continuously improve production efficiency by standardized work, line balance and automation project.

- Optimize production process and eliminate waste using lean method and tools.

- Organize and lead the lean activities and other improvement project.

  • Equipment Trouble Shooting and Improvement:

- Familiar with electrical test platform.

- Identify opportunities to improve current equipment or create new equipment and work with R&D or supplier to realize the requirement.

- Define the URS to guide new equipment purchasing and the equipment qualification.

- Define the gauge calibration requirement.

You're the right fit if:

  • B.S. or above in electrical, electronic engineering.

  • Familiar with AC, DC design and tuning.

  • Experience of X-ray testing is preferred.

  • 3 years of experience working in medical device manufacturing or finish medical device assembly and testing.

  • Familiar with FDA Quality Systems Regulations and ISO13485 Quality System.

  • Experience of Windchill and SAP.

  • Knowledge and methodology of six sigma and Lean manufacturing.

  • Knowledge of process verification and validation knowledge.

  • Knowledge of EMC and regulatory test requirement.

  • Take lead in training local professional sales force ensuring sales force effectiveness and equipment with latest clinical evidence
  • Drive professional recommendation of the Philips brand within professional channels in the markets by development and execution of the marketing strategies and contribution in the 24-month marketing plans
  • Contribute to the business P&L by supporting sales teams in professional channels
  • Work in the large markets, in which professional channels are significant, or require substantial development.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of healthcare industry experience

You are responsible for

  • Accountable to conduct business OIT cycle review to get clear insights on numbers, play key role to support BU LV and related business review meeting preparation and presentation.
  • Highlight risks & opportunities with clear justifications and propose recovery actions to drive business transparency and excellence.
  • Support to improve BU performance review process where need design standard review package in terms of funnel, OOH & QMSE and related data, where report-out and KPI tracker could accommodate business management model change dynamically (such as solution and professional service).
  • Co-own forecast accuracy on order level and run granular analysis to business segment (HTA/ LTA/BP) monthly/quarterly.
  • Be responsible to set/communicate annual target down to PS/PSM and trace target achievement accordingly.
  • Responsible to explain deviation vs. forecast and execute analysis for business leaders so that to have necessary granular business insights, and support business leader to deep dive root causes, figure out and support to execute remedy actions, which should be clearly escalated to central COP.
  • Responsible to drive funnel management and win rate analysis and follow up actions
  • Implement service funnel management system and drive adoption to improve data achievement and reports automation
  • Proactively monitor and analyze performance, funnel, won-lost, QMSE, supply business insight and assist leadership team in developing plans, resource allocation, business strategy that will lead to gain share and AOP achievement.
  • Provide analytical/operational support for the development, execution, and monitoring
  • Support others per management requests

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Strategic and logical thinking
  • Strong business acumen and sensitive to data, strong data analytics capability.
  • At least eight years’ experience in Operation, Sales, Strategy, business development, with strong business/marketing related mission, prefer with 2 years+ team management experience.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Capability to influence senior executives through strength of ideas and personality.
  • Problem solving capability
  • Proven track record in generating insights from data to improve performances or processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with very strong presentation and Excel skills, experience using Access, SQL, Tableau
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Resolves disagreements and conflicts constructively, knows when to involve others
  • Process-oriented thinking and a systematic approach for problem solving is required.
  • Coordination skills & project management skills are required.
  • Good working attitude, willingness to learn.
  • Works effectively both independently and as a member of a cross functional team
  • Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor/Master degree
  • 8 year+ business experience in operation or finance or equivalent position.

  • Manage high-impact corporate campaigns and milestone announcements, coordinating cross-functional inputs

  • Build and maintain relationships with tier-1 national/trade media; oversee briefing materials, Q&A, and corporate content for media use.

ESG Communications & Program Management

  • Define and localize the ESG narrative in line with global sustainability commitments and China’s policy agenda.

  • Plan and deliver ESG initiatives and multi-stakeholder programs with measurable outcomes (e.g., partnerships with NGOs, industry bodies, public-private initiatives).

  • Engage external stakeholders (associations, NGOs, academia) to amplify ESG impact and credibility.

  • Oversee ESG storytelling and reporting to ensure accuracy, transparency, and alignment with global frameworks.

Internal Alignment (non-BU facing)

  • Guide internal alignment on key corporate and ESG narratives in partnership

  • Provide content guidance and governance so internal materials reflect corporate narrative and reputation guardrails.

Governance & Ways of Working

  • Establish processes, calendars, and guidelines for corporate/ESG communications; track progress and continuously improve.

  • Coordinate with Brand to ensure consistency of tone, voice, and expression across owned and earned channels.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Sustainability, or related field.

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, ESG/sustainability communications, public affairs, or related fields in multinational environments.

  • Demonstrated success in media reputation building, issues/crisis management, and ESG stakeholder engagement in China.

  • Excellent bilingual writing and storytelling (Mandarin & English); ability to counsel senior stakeholders.

  • Strategic, calm under pressure, and execution-strong with clear ownership mentality.
