Support the Multi-Vendor Services (MVS) business as a Biomedical Equipment Site Lead for Philips customers in the Loma Linda, California area.  You will assume a leadership role for an empowered area of responsibility to manage and foster strong customer relationships through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites; generate service revenue; adhere to state and federal regulatory requirements.

Your role:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and service repair on biomedical equipmentutilizingthe service manual, OJT, OEM, or 3rd Party training. Providestraining/mentorship/technicalsupport to other service staff.

  • Identification and resolution of customer issues, providing the customer with theappropriate communication, and involvingappropriate siteservice personnel.Proactive identification of issues and providing creative, comprehensive solutions for customers which go beyond simple break/fix.

  • The Site Lead mustdemonstratethe ability to take ownership and lead in difficult customer circumstances and show a sense of urgency about delivering results, ability toestablishthe priorities of the moment by assessing the priorities communicated by the Site Team or the customer at any level.  May berequiredto manage multiple issues simultaneously.

  • Establishes credibility and trust while focusing on fixing the customer as well as the medical products.  Sets realistic customer expectations.  Interfaces with end-users, department managers and supervisors on routine issues.

  • May be requested to serve upon or provide consultation to various hospital committees or teams as requested by the customer with prior approval of site management

  • Maybe requiredto be available 24 x 7 via phone or pager, work alternate shifts, rotate in an on-call status.

  • Occasional travel to satellite locations required.

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent training/experience in electronics or Biomedical Engineering and/or CBET certification.

  • 7+ years servicing medical equipment is strongly preferred.

  • 1+ years of previous lead/supervisory experience in the medical industry preferred.

  • PC competency, to include basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases.

Senior Product Development AnalystYour role:

As part of Sustaining Value Engineering team you will:
• Ensuring that technical changes do not have a negative impact on the quality of the product

• Manage the product DHF, attend internal and external audits, acting as engineering reponsibility management for determined products.

• Guide internal resources in the projetcs and sometimes manage projects.

• Contribute to avoid shipment line down, helping manage EOL and critical supplier situations with a cross-functional team.
• Contribute to fix or improve components/ products ( hardware). Also
formulating plans outlining steps necessary to do so.
• Can analyze and evaluate present or proposed components, procedures or problems to help de‐fi ne project feasibility in cost and required time.
• Contribute to plan and execute tests that can be used as verification or validation for Design Changes.
• Can write and maintain technical documentation related to a project, product or component (hardware).
• Can research new technologies, systems or features using specialized literature, event atten‐dance
and prototype creation to maintain the products until its end of life.
• Can provide technical assistance to the team, review documents and design.
