• Responsible for production of the external financial publication of PayPal Mxc (regulated entity);

• Report monthly to the management team;

• Responsible for the annual financial budget of the PP Mxc entity and monthly variance (Actual vs. Budget);

• Review and manage daily process safeguarding framework, investigate and remediate any discrepancy;

• Perform risk assessments, identify improvements required in the control and risk management framework and ensure improvements are made in an effective, sustainable and documented way;

• Review and approve Regulatory Reporting for Maintain and develop robust and efficient accounting and reporting processes and related procedures/policies in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations;

• Monitor KPIs in order to drive the performance of the operations;

• Ensure the regulatory compliance of the outsourced activities and control and monitor its performance;

• Collaborate with the Business to ensure compliance is built into products and initiatives;

• Support effort to design, implement and improve finance reporting tools, processes and solutions.

• Qualified accountant (ideally from a Big 4 and or banking) with 5+ year professional experience;

• University Degree required (Masters preferred);

• English is mandatory;

• Experience of working within highly regulated business environments is an advantage;

• Master Microsoft Office tools, SAP experience would be an advantage;

• Familiar with Financial services regulatory environment;

• Strong problem solving skills and attention to details;

• Excellent ability to analyze risks and recommend controls to mitigate those risks;

• Excellent presentation and project management skills with the ability to successfully work multiple project/initiative at one time;

• Working with shared services is an advantage;

• High level of energy and creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to work in a fast growth and changing environment;
