  • Utilize customer contact information to nurture interest and gain commitment.

Expected Qualifications:

  • 1+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of sales, marketing or business development experience.
  • Previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns
  • Strong passion for Sales with a dynamic hunter personality to reach decision makers is essential.
  • Motivation and energy to drive early-stage revenue opportunities
  • Desire to learn enterprise sales methodologies and strategies.
  • A high degree of comfort with “cold calls” and skill at navigating through various barriers to engage with key decisionmakers
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving both individual & team goals in a professional setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively, both on independently and as part of a team, in a high energy, ever-changing, dynamic sales environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator and GONG is a plus.
  • Bachelor Degree preferred

Your Day to Day:

  • Outbound telephone sales of PayPal products to medium and large sized businesses

  • To achieve financial monthly and quarterly revenue targets as well as forecasting your monthly sales in line with revenue targets and productivity metrics

  • Consistently follow up with in-flight opportunities until products are “live-to-site”

  • Develop exceptional relationships with business owners by quickly building rapport and developing trust to understand their specific challenges

  • Be an expert in the suite of merchant solutions PayPal offers, and be able to identify which solutions solve the merchant’s needs

  • Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy while overcoming customer objections

  • Demonstrate a strong ability to close the deal while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

  • Meet and exceed established productivity goals

  • Utilize Salesforce to log, track, and maintain customer records

  • Collect and share merchant insights with Marketing, Product, and other departments

What you need to bring:
  • Results orientated with proven success and a track record of success in over-achieving vs. goals or quotas

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Organization and self-motivated individual

  • Strong telephone presence with experience in outbound calling

  • Experience in managing a sales-based revenue and accurate forecasting

  • Superb interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and trust

  • Highly competitive with a fire burning inside

  • Top notch listening and communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Self-motivated with a tenacious drive to be number 1

  • Self-starter; strong work ethic; eager to crush sales goals

  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving in order to close the business

  • Highly resourceful team member with the ability to be extremely effective both independently and as part of a sales team
