Palo Alto Networks SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) group is looking for a seasoned and accomplished Principal SQA engineer with experience in validating core networking,security features & solution testing in the SD-WAN team. You will be part of a world-class software engineering team that works on various ground-breaking technologies in the SD-WAN area. You will work with a multi- functional team of engineers solving interesting problems.
Your Impact
Work in a small and fast paced team to solve important customer problems and deliver most impactful results
Contribute in all phases of end to end product and solution validation
Works closely with PM,TME,Customer support teams to understand the customer use cases
Work with different development and quality assurances groups to achieve the best quality
Suggest and implement improvements to the QA process
Work with DevOps and the Technical Support teams to troubleshoot customer issues
Lead technical discussions, mentor junior team members, and support customer deployments as needed.
Your Experience
12 to18 years of relevant experience, with a BS or MS degree
Expertise with standard TCP/IP protocols such as ARP, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP & IPSec VPNs
Expertise in testing of Layer 2/3 networking, routing protocols such as BGP,OSPF & EIGRP, MPLS, IPSec, QoS, NAT, and policies etc.,
Expertise in networking features like Multicast, IPv6, DNS, NAT & DHCP
Expertise in System,Solution,Scale,Performance, interoperability, and failover testing of SD-WAN solutions
Own the test strategy, architecture, and execution plans for enterprise-scale SD-WAN solutions.
Be able to build and maintain complex networking testbeds
Expertise with performance characterization of a networking products
Expertise in test orchestration, control plane, data plane, and security features of SD-WAN platforms
Proficient in using traffic generators (Ixia, Spirent), protocol analyzers (Wireshark), and monitoring tools
Expertise with Automation/Programming using Python and RestAPI’s
Design and implement test frameworks, environments, and automation for system-level validation.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi, qemu/kvm, Microsoft Hyper-V
Excellent problem-solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused mindset

Your Experience
3+ years experience selling to Small and Medium customers with a substantial amount of time covering the required market(s)
Fluent in the local language(s) of target market(s)
Experience selling a portfolio of solutions and expanding a customer's environment with newer solutions
Familiarity with information technology products and topics - driven to learn more. Familiarity with cybersecurity is a plus.
Proven track record of winning new customers and exceeding revenue goals
Demonstrated success in working with channel partners or distributors to cover a defined territory, co-selling and enabling partner success within the SMB landscape.
Experience and proven success in new customer acquisition
Honed organizational, planning, communication and negotiation skills
