Your Impact

  • Serve as the primary liaison for Professional Services, ensuring service delivery exceeds customer expectations through proactive feedback management and corrective actions
  • Champion a customer-first approach across Global Customer Services teams to improve engagement and satisfaction
  • Ensure your team deeply understands customer technical needs and builds lasting, trusted relationships
  • Partner with Sales to provide strategic input during customer negotiations and ensure smooth collaboration throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Drive accurate resource planning and staffing to meet project milestones and quarterly business targets
  • Participate in Quarterly Service Reviews (QSRs), sharing insights and gathering client feedback.
  • Provide clear, timely updates on key activities, escalations, and issues to customers and internal teams
  • Build strong partner relationships focused on aligned goals and shared customer success
  • Oversee team utilization, revenue forecasting, and approvals for timesheets and expenses
  • Contribute to the strategic alignment of Professional Services offerings
  • Lead team operations including hiring, career development, mentorship, and training

Your Experience

  • 8+ years experience in professional services/consulting, with at least 3 years leading and building high-performing teams of networking and security technologies such as SASE, Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW), and related solutions
  • Demonstrated understanding of technical concepts such as internet security concepts, products, and implementation strategies. You should be able to translate this complex information into clear, understandable terms for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in end-to-end project lifecycle management, from pre-sales engagement and SOW creation through project execution and closeout
  • Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration, partnering with Sales, Product, and Services peers to deliver aligned customer outcomes
  • Recognized for clear, persuasive communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization
  • Skilled at translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, including executives and non-technical stakeholders
  • Valued industry certifications like CISSP, PMP, or vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Palo Alto Networks certifications) and strong project management skills are a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for customer engagements and internal business meetings
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering) or comparable professional experience, including military service

As a Principal Consultant for SOC Transformation & XSIAM Deployment, you will be a seasoned leader at the forefront of our most strategic customer engagements. You will leverage a rare blend of consultative presence, deep technical mastery, and executive influence to guide our customers through complex SOC transformations. Your primary role is to drive these large-scale programs, ensuring the successful execution of foundational elements like seamless log migration and the development of sophisticated detection strategies, to deliver measurable security outcomes in highly dynamic enterprise environments.

Your Impact

  • Serve as the lead strategic advisor and subject matter expert for customers undertaking a full-scale SOC modernization with XSIAM
  • Lead multi-national SOC transformation programs, consolidating fragmented detection and response processes into a unified, AI-driven platform
  • Direct enterprise-scale XSIAM deployments, guiding customers from initial strategy to full operationalization
  • Devise and oversee comprehensive log ingestion strategies to ensure high-quality data fuels the XSIAM platform
  • Architect and implement sophisticated detection strategies and correlation rules to fortify customer defenses against advanced threats
  • Fine-tune and optimize log sources and correlation rules to maximize system performance and detection efficacy
  • Identify opportunities to enhance analyst alert handling and response through automation
  • Transform ambiguity into structured action plans, driving accountability at every level of a customer engagement
  • Build and mentor high-performing professional services teams that blend consulting, engineering, and change management expertise
  • Partner with Product and R&D teams to incorporate field insights into roadmap priorities

Your Experience

  • A proven track record in modernizing Security Operations Centers (SOCs) to achieve automation, AI-driven detection, and measurable improvements in MTTD/MTTR
  • Exceptional executive presence, with strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders from the SOC analyst to the CISO
  • Experience acting as a trusted advisor to senior security leaders, with the ability to diagnose challenges and deliver strategic recommendations
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in deploying and integrating SIEM/security analytics solutions within large enterprise environments
  • 8+ years of experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) tooling, processes, and workflows
  • Hands-on technical mastery across SIEM, SOAR, EDR, cloud security, and threat intelligence
  • Ability to conceive, architect, and develop effective correlation and detection rules
  • Familiarity with a range of SIEM technologies, such as Splunk and IBM QRadar, is a plus
  • Strong expertise in Regular Expressions (Regex)
  • Relevant bachelor's degree or industry-recognized qualifications (CISSP, GIAC, etc.), is a plus.

  • 30% Travel

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $1926200 - $2648525/YR.
