RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead long-range planning with an eye towards execution
Own and support near-term and long-term P&Ls and cash forecasts for our Animated Series teams (includes Adult Animation, Live Action Scripted, Family Spectacle, Preschool & Kids, and 2nd Run Licensing)
Manage headcount planning/ people cost budgets, and Studio cost planning
Perform financial scenario analysis to support business unit scaling efforts to assist senior management decision-making
Own, develop, and iterate on financial KPIs, metrics, and dashboards
Work with cross-functional teams to adapt and evolve financial framework(s) to properly support managerial and GAAP reporting
Develop slate review presentations that consolidate and summarize the multiple businesses that make up the Animated Series organization
Assist in the implementation of a dynamic financial planning tool and drive automation efforts for existing systems
QUALIFICATIONS:

Be able to work with flexible hours based on the live events schedule.

Qualifications
10+ years of experience in management or supervisory roles in Broadcast Engineering.
Proven experience in designing and maintaining IP-based and virtualized workflows, facilities, and modern broadcast core technologies such as ST-2110 and NMOS, PTP, JPEG-XS, UHD and HDR workflows, SRT, AVC/HEVC, and Zixi.
Advanced knowledge of networking fundamentals and IP-based workflows.
Experience with routing platforms for video, media workflow, video transport, and delivery.
Understanding of ASI, Baseband video signal workflows, and SMPTE standards.
Familiarity with transport mediums such as private fiber networks, WAN, Satellite, Cellular Bonding, LEO, etc.
Deep expertise in broadcast workflow technology and concepts surrounding transmission and contribution feeds, routing, format validation and conversion, closed captioning, SCTE104/35, playout, record, storage, intercom, and monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies and solutions.
Communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including end users, developers, engineers, and executives, both internally and externally.
Successfully manage multiple long-term projects from start to finish, including coordination with third-party vendors.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work independently and think creatively to solve problems.

Responsibilities
Work closely with external casting to advise on deal structure and strategy for guest performers.
Serve as the primary point of contact between Netflix and talent agents and attorneys regarding guest performer agreements.

As the Director of Creative, you will work cross-functionally with the Attractions and House teams to ideate and design new IP-based projects, helping to creatively lead projects from concept through design, to opening day and beyond.
