This EMEA (5 EU Markets: DE, ES, FR, IT, UK) role will focus on developing commercial go-to-market models for all custom sponsorship opportunities [not inclusive of Live]. A core mission will be to work cross-functionally to develop and scale high-impact advertising opportunities tailored to each regional market across scripted/unscripted titles/concepts that involve one or more of the following:

In this role, you will:
  • Collaborate with Brand Partnerships in developing holistic commercialisation strategies for our global, pan-regional and local priority titles and the roll out of go-to-market sales materials, guidance and training specific to EMEA.
  • Partner with Finance & Strategy (F&S), Marketing Partnerships, Product and Revenue Yield Analytics (RYA) teams to forecast, price, and package advertising programs tailored to the EMEA region.
  • Work with Legal, Business Affairs, and Content teams to stand up regional commercial sponsorship and integration models.
  • Partner with the EMEA Sales team and Brand Partnerships to help inform account/advertiser opportunity prioritisation and GTM sales strategy
  • Ensure yearly and multi-year sponsorship frameworks align with other regional and global approaches and priorities
  • Collaborate with Ads Research and Consumer Insights to develop measurement and insights capabilities that support monetisation models.
  • Develop, in conjunction with Business Operations and Marketing Partnerships, revenue and program tracking mechanisms to ensure annual objectives for the EMEA region are met or exceeded.
  • Track and evaluate competitive offerings within EMEA to ensure Netflix provides best-in-class advertising solutions.
  • Provide guidance and input on product capabilities as part of regular internal innovation initiatives.
  • Work with Ads Marketing to ensure up-to-date and compelling case studies are available for use by sales teams in the market
  • Partner with the Enablement team to ensure regular training and sales tools are available
About You
  • Experience: 7+ years of sales/monetisation experience, specific to integrated marketing, and/or sponsorship programming.
  • Cross-Platform:Deep experience and understanding of both the traditional linear and evolving streaming/digital video space in addition to social, audio, event, and gaming.
  • Regional Focus:Proven expertise within the EMEA market, with an understanding of the unique characteristics and opportunities of this region; multiple languages (French, German, Italian and/ or Spanish) a big plus.
  • Collaboration:Ability to collaborate upstream with content and creative teams during the concepting and ideation phases of ad programs.

  • Support the execution of market-level commercial operations, strategies and processes to help build a high-performing commercial organization.

  • Own / support pipeline and business reviews on a recurring basis at the front-line manager or country level.

  • Own / support the execution of initiatives to drive regional effectiveness within Sales Operations and across the broader Sales organization.

Insights & Analytics:

  • Define, build, and maintain sales inputs, forecasting, and pipeline management.

  • Bring perspective to efficacy of current KPIs and metrics across the Ads function. Have perspective on how to evolve them.

  • Build detailed dashboards and monthly, quarterly review decks for senior (VP+ level) consumption to run the business. Lead discussions on business performance & state of business with expertise and full ownership.

  • Coordinate with global counterparts in (UCAN, EMEA, LATAM, APAC) to assimilate business insights and package for regular check-ins.

Core Process & Sales Policy:

  • Lead the implementation and execution of key Sales Operations functions (e.g., defining success metrics, reporting, customer segmentation, target setting, quota allocation)

  • Assist in the defining, building and managing workflows/processes on behalf of the broader Sales organization

XFN Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with internal team, commercial partners and cross-functional teams as needed to understand strategy and help develop plans for execution.

About you:

  • 5+ years of experience in advertising/ advertising-related fields; and/or experience working in Sales Operations.

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage and lead large-scale, complex projects.

  • Strong collaborator who embraces differing perspectives and experiences to make better decisions.

  • Strong technical skills, including expertise working with multiple large data sets; SQL and data analytics skills are a plus

  • Proven ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects efficiently.

  • Familiarity with agency and client-direct sales models.

  • Knowledge of the advertising landscape, including media channels and methods of buying.

  • Proficient with reading, writing, and speaking English, French / German / Italian / Spanish a plus

Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

Strategy & Partnership

  • Equipping our leaders and managers across the largest growth region (EMEA) to role model leadership excellence, including cultural, localised and scaled leadership.

  • Advise on leadership growth and Talent Management strategies, with strong awareness of local and regional needs and nuances, specifically in London (LON)

  • Design, drive and execute EMEA’s Netflix culture initiatives, partnering closely with LON HRBPs

  • Act as a trusted leadership thought partner to regional VPs, HRBPs, regional Talent Partners and global Talent Management (TM), including building strategic TM roadmaps for LON

  • Share industry trends in leadership to inform strategic focus and decisions across the EMEA leadership portfolio

Leadership Facilitator, Program Delivery

  • Contribute to the content development process as a regional design partner for certain leadership initiatives with the Central TM Leadership team

  • Facilitate EMEA leadership programs (e.g. Director & manager forums, peer learning)

  • Integrate GBPs (I&D, Wellbeing, consistent employee experience) ethos into leadership growth initiatives.

  • Design and facilitate leadership initiatives at senior leadership offsites, to help build strong strategic leaders and role models of our

  • Review, evaluate and report on learning program effectiveness; analyze feedback from the business, to ensure alignment of Talent practices with business needs

Project Management

  • Responsible for some EMEA programmatic planning, operations, and communication (e.g. Director & Manager forums, peer learning)

  • Collect and analyze feedback on targeted program components. Identify program efficiency and proactively identify program risks and opportunities

  • Maintain tracking of projects and key initiatives, working in close partnership with the broader Talent Management and other Talent teams; familiar with Asana project management software

  • Work with Talent Management Coordinators to manage program operations and activities, including tracking of project budget and associated spending

  • Where applicable, audit and approve vendor invoices

  • Experienced in effectiveness measurements such as Reach & Frequency, Brand Lift, Matched-Market testing, A/B testing, Marketing Mix Models and bespoke campaign effectiveness studies, including questionnaire scripting.

  • Experience effectively communicating with clients and research vendors.
