About Production Finance:
The Production Finance Coordinator will be tasked with supporting our ever-growing slate on a day-to-day basis, and providing consistency for our internal and external partners.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:
Serve as a contact for below-the-line legal matters arising during development, pre-production, production, post-production, and launch.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree (JD or Paralegal certification accepted, but not required) and at least 2 years of proven experience in a similar business/legal affairs role in the film or television industry. This candidate must also be able to work proactively and reliably on multiple projects under tight timeframes in a fast-paced production environment being able to quickly assess risk and exercise strong judgment in the face of ambiguity.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $70,000 - $350,000.

About the Role
In your role as Sales Partner, UK, you will contribute to the development and execution of the Agency Sales Strategy for the UK market. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Line Producers, Production Managers, accounting staff and the Netflix team to deliver the highest quality original entertainment content.
Working within the UK Production Finance team to lead on Series Commissions (both Self Produced and Partner Managed) with the support of a Production Finance Associate.
Working closely with Production Management, Business and Legal Affairs, and Post Production teams to ensure shows deliver within budget and on schedule.
Work with internal development teams to research, test and develop new technologies that provide the next generation of finance tools and determine how and when to best incorporate them into the production accounting workflow.

Oversee the cash flow and funding processes.
Review production budgets, cost reports, trial balances and petty cash reconciliations prepared by show accountants.
Work with show accountants on a day-to-day basis to drive accurate, complete and timely cost reporting, protecting and managing show assets and supporting production.
Develop relationships with Film Commissioners, CPA audit firms, Accountants, Producers and Payroll Companies to build resources and networks from which to poll industry information and help ensure all production finance processes are current, reasonable and timely.
Facilitate the training and mentoring of junior production accounting staff on Netflix shows with the goal of increasing the pool of loyal “star” accounting candidates for future Netflix productions.
Keep abreast of current and changing industry trends, evolving technologies, production incentives and changes in crew capacity and infrastructure support in the main worldwide production centres.
Travel to production locations where our shows are filming to audit, review workflows, organisational abilities and effectiveness of accounting staff.
Requirements:
