As the Sales Partner in France, you will be responsible for helping lead the development and execution of the Agency sales strategy for France. You will work closely with the senior-level account director, account planning stakeholders, traders, and investment directors with our Agency partners. You will also start a strong relationship with the advertisers to evangelize the use of Netflix among the C-level suit: CMO, CDO, Media Directors etc.

The role will involve a combination of developing business with the senior stakeholders at a given major Agency group alongside the building of key client relationships with C-level, VP and Director contacts within those portfolios. As the Sales leader, you will be tasked with jointly driving Netflix Advertising opportunities with both key Agency partners and Client leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute agency-focused sales for France to deliver revenue targets and exceed client expectations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a major Agency Holding group and related Agencies to secure ad partnerships and drive revenue growth.

  • Develop long-term relationships with key senior Clients within those portfolios.

  • Partner with Microsoft Partner teams to respond to briefs and grow the business together

  • Develop sales strategies and sales plans for the assigned Account portfolio

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of advertising campaigns.

  • Leverage Netflix's unique audience insights and premium content offerings to drive revenue growth.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and identify opportunities for innovation.

We’re Looking for:

  • At least 6+ years of experience in advertising or media (incl. sales) with a proven track record of delivering revenue growth.

  • Strong knowledge of marketing and communication objectives and pillars

  • Ability to move easily from strategic thinking to operational tasks

  • Deep understanding of the Media Agencies/Holding Companies and an established network of relationships at the senior level within them.

  • Experience in both TV and digital advertising sales will be a plus

  • A degree of people management experience is preferable

  • Strong analytical (strategic and creative) capabilities and judgment.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross‐functionally.

  • Open to the challenge of starting a new business, comfortable with risk, uncertainty and ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Advertising Sales team and respond to day-to-day measurement requests.

  • Produce research and insights that tell Netflix’s Ads story to the marketplace and advertiser clients in areas such as audience insights, reach and frequency, campaign verification, and campaign measurement.

  • Use proprietary and syndicated tools to create regular reporting for stakeholders (both internal and external) on the Netflix Ads audience in comparison to competitors.

  • Be a TV champion. Understand and promote the benefits of TV advertising and the Netflix Ads Audience.

  • Manage the day-to-day effectiveness study process with third-party vendors from end to end, e.g., sales requests, vendor intake, survey drafting, analysis, and report creation. Present findings to agency representatives where appropriate and in partnership with the team lead.

  • Support other team members with advertiser and category-specific learning agendas & playbooks for Netflix.

  • General team project management. Project-manage the French measurement teams' output to ensure all projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. Build and champion processes to promote highly efficient working methods across the team.

  • General team admin, including vendor onboarding and vendor management tasks.

  • Work with measurement colleagues on regional or global projects where needed.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in media research at Streaming, TV, or digital media companies.

  • Strong understanding of methodology, data, and systems from syndicated research providers (e.g. Médiamétrie, GWI… ), as well as direct digital technology and analytics.

  • Dual TV and digital experience is a plus.

  • Experienced in effectiveness measurements such as Reach & Frequency, Brand lift, Matched-Market testing, A/B testing, Marketing Mix Models and bespoke campaign effectiveness studies. Including questionnaire scripting.

  • Knowledge of the advertising landscape across all kinds of media channels and methods of buying. Ideally, with a TV focus.

  • Self-starter with expertise in managing projects independently with a high attention to detail.

  • Highly organised and experienced in building and following processes to make working methods more efficient.

  • Flexible and open-minded: able to thrive in a startup environment with ambiguity.

  • Builds strong relationships with clients and colleagues; values diverse perspectives for better decision-making.

  • Highly curious, always looking for the meaning behind data.

  • Excellent writing and presentation-building skills.
