Qualifications
Proven experience as a game artist with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional art skills and the ability to see through complete features
Strong 3D and 2D asset creation skills
Extensive experience in mobile gaming, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this space. Experience in web development is a plus
Experience with Animation and VFX, including tools such as Rive, Spine, After Effects, or similar
Expertise in Illustration and concepting
Proficiency in UI and 2D iconography design
Strong typography and logo creation skills
Strong knowledge of Unity or other similar game engines
Strong teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with other artists, designers, and developers
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes
A proactive attitude towards learning and incorporating new techniques to enhance game art and UI
The capability to adapt easily and proactively to new software and different tasks
Tools
Adobe Creative Suite
Unity or another similar game engine
Figma or other similar prototyping tools

In this role, you will:
Leverage causal inference methods or statistically sound analyses to drive actionable insights and help shape our understanding of how product, content and algorithms influence member experience.

To be successful in this role, you have:
An advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
5+ years of relevant experience in one or more data science roles.
Expertise in statistical analysis methods, most notably regression analysis, causal inference, statistical learning and experimentation methods.
Strong data manipulation and quantitative programming skills in SQL, R and/or Python.
Exceptional communication with technical and non-technical audiences; highly effective at developing meaningful stakeholder relationships and deep domain expertise.
Comfort with ambiguity; ability to thrive with minimal oversight and process.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $170,000 - $720,000.

The Role
As alead game engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving one of our most important game initiatives forward. With your expertise in full-stack web development, you will lead a team of engineers but you aren't afraid to dive into the code when needed. You have a proven track record of leading engineering teams, successfully managing complex technical challenges, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders across different domains. You’ll work from our Helsinki office or your Helsinki home, alongside a team that embraces a hybrid working model.
