Position Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supplier Onboarding Management and Fraud Prevention :
    • Serve as the single point of contact for supplier onboarding for all stakeholders, both internal and external (suppliers).
    • Be accountable for the full end-to-end supplier onboarding process for assigned cases, ensuring governance management and support for existing supplier data changes.
    • Proactive follow-up (phone & email) with the suppliers who have not finalized their registration
    • Serve as an important front-end gatekeeper to prevent fraud cases for the organization
  • Process Execution and Compliance :
    • Execute the onboarding process according to the standard support model and established tools.
    • Ensure the application of adequate internal controls as needed.
    • Follow, execute & safeguard the fraud prevention process strictly
  • Issue Resolution and Escalation Management :
    • Proactively evaluate cases, identify issues, and bring solutions to minimize escalations with suppliers and procurement.
    • Handle escalations and resolve complex cases effectively.
    • Ensure proper defect resolution by analyzing data and specific cases, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Training and Knowledge Management :
    • Participate training for new joiners and provide ongoing knowledge refreshers for the team.
  • Collaboration and Communication :
    • Cooperate closely with IT, Procurement, Finance and VMD teams regarding system issues and process improvements.
    • Represent the SOA team in client visits/calls and cross-functional communications.
    • Conduct regular phone calls with vendors to foster strong partnerships, streamline operations, and proactively prevent potential fraud events.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting department of a multinational company preferred and 2 years in current position
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience with a demonstrated record of customer focus and project delivery
  • Business process knowledge, together with demonstrated skills in project implementation is a plus.
  • Apex Supplier Portal experience is a plus
  • Business level of English and Spanishlanguage(both written and spoken)

Technical/Soft Skills Requirements

  • SAP Experience Required
  • Intermediate to Advanced PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Ability to implement support around a long-term vision and milestones needed to drive the realization of that vision
  • Positive, engaging disposition with high personal integrity, credibility, and energy.

  • Training and Development
    : Implement training programs to ensure that team members are informed of current regulatory standards and best practices. Also, identify training needs across the Hub and support implementation. Promote cross functional learning and knowledge-sharing.

Regulatory Regional Operations Manager:

  • Lead and develop direct line reports at the Hub creating an environment that fosters professional growth

    : Accountable for ensuring timely execution to high standards for quality & compliance for all RRO deliverables produced at the Hub, some of which will be worked on by the OPS Hub Lead themselves.   • Continuous Improvement
    : Drive process efficiency and operational excellence by establishing streamlined workflows for related activities, aligned with global processes and standards.

  • Regulatory Compliance
    : Ensure that all regulatory activities comply with relevant laws, guidelines, and policies. This includes overseeing submissions, documentation, and ensure that appropriate inputs are provided to support audits or issue management.

  • RRO Talent Management
    : Support performance management and development plans as well as overall engagement for direct reports. Create an inclusive and collaborative work culture that supports engagement and innovation

  • Support RRO Regional Leads by providing essential site-related updates, logistical support, and insights into local country operational dynamics.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science, Pharmacy, or Engineering-related field required.

  • Advanced degree preferred

  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) or Scrum Master certification (CSM) or similar is preferred

Experience and Skills Required:

  • At least 10 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry including 2 years of regulatory operations or regulatory affairs area.

  • 5+ years experience in people management

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

Main responsibilities (minimum requirements):

The Position

As a thought partner to product and platform teams, divisional architecture groups, and CTO-aligned stakeholders, you will help Our Company unlock value through consistent strategy execution, architectural alignment, and adoption of scalable data and AI capabilities.

What will you do?

  • Lead cross-capability strategy initiatives spanning architecture, investment planning, product vision, and operating models across CDNA product lines.
  • Drive the formulation of interoperable strategies in partnership with divisions—ensuring these strategies are translated into actionable, reusable architecture and delivery blueprints.
  • Shape and advance strategic efforts such as enablement of AI/ML and agentic capabilities, and unified approaches to data access, governance, and knowledge reuse.
  • Promote adoption and socialization of strategic frameworks across divisions, product teams, and CTO-aligned functions through forums, publications, and direct engagement.
  • Embed a value realization mindset, ensuring strategic initiatives lead to measurable business outcomes, improved interoperability, and cost-effective capability deployment.
  • Serve as a connector between CDNA, divisional IT, and enterprise functions to harmonize capability strategies and eliminate fragmentation.
  • Collaborate with senior architects and executives to periodically refresh and evolve strategy based on business needs, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Lead or contribute to strategic governance forums, including the CDNA Architecture Forum (CAF), newly established Strategy Forum, and the enterprise-wide Data & Analytics Council.
  • Contribute to Company’s thought leadership by authoring strategic white papers, presenting at executive forums, and mentoring architecture leaders across the enterprise.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise, solution, or capability architecture, preferably within data and analytics functions
  • Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives that span platforms, product lines, and organizational boundaries
  • Deep understanding of modern data and AI ecosystems, including cloud-native architectures, interoperability frameworks, and capability lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated success engaging with diverse stakeholders—from product teams to senior executives
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and facilitation skills
  • Experience working in large, complex enterprises—ideally in regulated industries like pharmaceuticals or life sciences
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering, analytics, and platform integration
  • Proficiency with Dataiku for operationalizing data science and building AI pipelines
  • Experience with Matillion for cloud-native ETL and pipeline orchestration
  • Proficiency with dbt for data transformation and modeling
  • Working knowledge of Power BI for enterprise reporting and dashboard development
  • Familiarity with ThoughtSpot for search-based and AI-driven analytics
  • Experience with Immuta for data access governance and dynamic policy enforcement
  • Proficiency in Collibra for data cataloging, stewardship, and metadata management
  • Familiarity with AWS services including S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, and IAM for cloud-native data architecture

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Our CDNA product landscape (e.g., Discover, Analytics Gateway, Conversational BI, Muse, DIFW, DI gateway etc)
  • Prior involvement in capability strategy development, architecture governance, or technology investment planning
  • Experience with architecture forums, knowledge management, and strategic value realization frameworks
  • Experience with architectural concepts like Reference architecture, design patterns, persona driven capability enablement, data mesh, decision trees and tech life cycle management

Position Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supplier Onboarding Management and Fraud Prevention :
    • Serve as the single point of contact for supplier onboarding for all stakeholders, both internal and external (suppliers).
    • Be accountable for the full end-to-end supplier onboarding process for assigned cases, ensuring governance management and support for existing supplier data changes.
    • Proactive follow-up (phone & email) with the suppliers who have not finalized their registration
    • Serve as an important front-end gatekeeper to prevent fraud cases for the organization
  • Process Execution and Compliance :
    • Execute the onboarding process according to the standard support model and established tools.
    • Ensure the application of adequate internal controls as needed.
    • Follow, execute & safeguard the fraud prevention process strictly
  • Issue Resolution and Escalation Management :
    • Proactively evaluate cases, identify issues, and bring solutions to minimize escalations with suppliers and procurement.
    • Handle escalations and resolve complex cases effectively.
    • Ensure proper defect resolution by analyzing data and specific cases, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Training and Knowledge Management :
    • Participate training for new joiners and provide ongoing knowledge refreshers for the team.
  • Collaboration and Communication :
    • Cooperate closely with IT, Procurement, Finance and VMD teams regarding system issues and process improvements.
    • Represent the SOA team in client visits/calls and cross-functional communications.
    • Conduct regular phone calls with vendors to foster strong partnerships, streamline operations, and proactively prevent potential fraud events.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting department of a multinational company preferred and 2 years in current position
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience with a demonstrated record of customer focus and project delivery
  • Business process knowledge, together with demonstrated skills in project implementation is a plus.
  • Apex Supplier Portal experience is a plus
  • Business level of English and Spanishlanguage(both written and spoken)

Technical/Soft Skills Requirements

  • SAP Experience Required
  • Intermediate to Advanced PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
