Strong technical skills with SQL, Looker, or similar systems, including building dashboards or reports, preferred
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with a knack for identifying trends and taking action
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (including MS Word, Powerpoint, and Excel)
Superior organizational and project management capabilities, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

In this role you’ll work closely with teams across Lemonade to prepare and submit auto product filings for state department approval. You’ll also support product development initiatives by researching competitor filings and products, understanding and communicating state regulatory nuances, and devising filing strategies and timelines.

3+ years of personal lines insurance experience in either product development, product management or state management
1+ years of experience in state filing or regulatory compliance at a P&C carrier, with a strong preference for car insurance
Knowledge of SERFF and familiarity with state filing requirements
Analytical, with a knack for identifying trends, communicating results, and taking action
Demonstrated ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks with competing deadlines
Collaborative spirit and top-notch communication skills

Process raw data to generate groundbreaking telematics features for various applications
Build and deploy predictive models that integrate telematics data into our business processes
Develop and maintain robust pipelines, ensuring seamless telematics data flow to our predictive models
Collaborate with a brilliant cross-functional team; engineers who support the core data pipelines, product managers who brainstorm new use cases for telematics models every day, the Insurance team who takes pricing models from concept to reality, and of course, the rest of the AI team
1-3+ years of practical data science or software engineering, or Master of Science (MSc) or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
Fluent in Python for software development, as well as model building
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
Experience working on high-scale, production-grade projects
Signal processing experience, an advantage
