Qualifications

Ownership of escalation plans to return critical supply to a healthy level. May include report outs to senior management in various forums (CMS meetings, FMS meetings, etc).
  • Utilize the Baxter planning system and other analytical tools to review inventory projections and the supply-demand picture to prevent potential shortages or excessive inventory.
  • Weekly analysis and release of suggested new buy orders from the Baxter planning system.
  • Weekly analysis of Supply Health. The Supply Planner is responsible for crafting a weekly slide deck for read out to the team, and to work with the Buyers to prevent currently healthy parts from going unhealthy.
  • Chair weekly critical parts review meetings, and work issues to closure.
  • Participate in development of analytics to predict future risks, increase accuracy in supply planning, and provide insight for executive decision making for spare parts.
  • Ensure adherence to company supply chain management standard methodologies, policies, procedures and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of Power Bi is helpful.

  • Collaborate with key partners (purchasing and engineering) to ensure Engineering Change Orders are communicated to and implemented in manufacturing in an efficient and timely way
  • Understands and maintains critical path of BOMs in area of responsibility and drives engineering to maintain BOM alignment to manufacturing process
  • Attends and actively participates in manufacturing production status meetings, On-Time-Starts meetings, and all other required meetings
  • Open, manage, and close work orders timely to ensure correct factory cost absorption
  • Identify potential supply risks and inventory exposures by reconciling material availability against manufacturing capacity and production plan targets. Develop and drive mitigation plans as necessary
  • Escalate where and when necessary to management
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle count activity and promptly resolve variations through reconciliation activity
  • Engage manufacturing teams and key stakeholders in the continuous improvement process to ensure assigned projects are identified, prioritized, and executed to ensure success

Preferred Qualifications:

  • APICS certification a plus

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience (low volume high mix preferred) and having supported New Product Introduction and sustaining manufacturing

  • Strong presentation and clear communication abilities.

  • SAP experience is required

  • Articulates thoughts, concepts, and ideas concisely in both formal and informal situations

  • Advanced MS Office skills, understanding of vlookup, Pivot tables, tables, chart reporting, and data sorting

  • Strong proficiency in organizational and time-management skills

  • Maintain the work order bill of materials, ensuring it supports efficient material flow and aligns with the assembly process.
  • Collaborate with engineering for new product work order releases and material planning.
  • Ensure engineering change orders are approved and work orders are updated accordingly .
  • Review backorders related to the tool line.
  • Create reservation requests for internal department part requests.
  • Create delivery documents and close work order variances, coordinating with the stock room.
  • Understand manufacturing capacity and allocate resources as required to meet build plan commitments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS degree + 2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment OR
  • AS + 5 years related experience in a manufacturing environment
