As a Tax Product Manager in the IPB Tax Product team, you will lead initiatives from strategy and planning through to execution. You will collaborate with Operations, Product, Technology, Business Management, Corporate Tax, Legal, Marketing, and external vendors to ensure successful implementation of strategic, business, modernization, and regulatory initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives.
  • Define and document business operating models and requirements in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Partner with Technology to ensure requirements are implemented as per specification.
  • Perform data analysis and define Target Operating Models and processes.
  • Coordinate testing across functional groups.
  • Manage and execute tasks through to completion, effectively prioritizing work.
  • Prepare project and meeting materials, minutes, and follow-up on action items.
  • Ensure full audit trail of project deliverables is available for all undertaken tasks.
  • Challenge status quo, identify, and address process, controls, and Operating Model improvements.
  • Support the design and vision of the strategic technical architecture.
  • Escalate key risks and issues in a timely manner through appropriate formal governance.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Extensive experience in Financial Services, Operations, or Technology.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Product, Project, and Business Analysis principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum & Scrum ceremonies. Proven record and experience in managing projects.
  • Experience writing detailed features & stories to support product objectives.
  • Strong backlog management skills and understanding of data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding and experience of project methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, etc.
  • Experience using Jira & Confluence.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders across different functional groups and regions.
  • Strong knowledge of MS tools; Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and independently with cross-functional teams, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in tax software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
